I can see this has been resolved, but totally agree with all of the above :) he probably just changed it to ensure that there will be no more conversations of that disrespectful (and also kinda awkward) type, especially in relation to you
I was discussing this with my OH and he said while compliments are good there is a line the coworkers crossed that was discovered respectful to him and you. He said him changing it was to protect you and avoid guys making gutter comments that would get him potentially angry.
Seems he thinks similar to others here. No worries posting this is what this forum is for is feedback and help.... who knows you may have helped others by sharing.
