corsets

Im not a small lady, (im an 18 at the mo) i yo-yo from a 14 to an 18. I really love the thought of a corset but i need to one which fits and would hide my wobbly bits ;-)

As i have mentioned im not a small lady and i have even bigger boobs, 40e so i need something where it wouldnt look like ive spent 20 mins trying to ram them in. I also have breathing problems so i cant have anything which would come too tight across my chest and stomach.

Anything which will help with these "demands" lol xx

Hi I sent you friend request. If I can find the chat pop up / button / link / what ever it is. Maybe we can chat about the corsets. I am currently between a 12 and a 14 with DD and also battle with the corsets.

(Mrs Badger)

I have bigger boobs and love handles I can find a corset that I can't breath in but boobs never fit :(

I have a pic of myself in a corset- I have 34ff or 36f boobs and hate my tummy, finally found a site that has longer corsets and you can size ur self for the perfect fit!

They regularly have sales so can grab one quite cheap - corsets.co.uk

Hope that helps xxx

Hi naughtywildfun90,

Before buying a corset, you need to think about what you're going to be wearing it for (eg: in the bedroom, out and about or waist training)

Things to consider are:

-whether you want plastic or steel bones. Steel bones are more rigid & will give you less movement. You will also be able to pull these corsets in tighter giving you a smaller waist, but if you have problems with breathing, this may not be the right choice for you.

-overbust or underbust? This makes a hug difference to sizing as an underbust corset comes under the bust (surprisingly!!) so you don't need to worry about bust size.

For your requirements, I think a plastic boned corset would suit you best. Don't be afraid to re-lace your corsets. Some corsets will arrive with the "bow" at the bottom of the corset & it will be laced like a shoe. To give you a more even pull & comfortable wear, you should consider re-lacing the corset like so:

Personally, I always replace the silk/ribbon lace with a tougher rope as I find it lasts longer & doesn't know so easily. Also, you'll be able to change the ribbon length whenever you may feel your size fluctuate. You may have a smaller/bigger gap at the back of the corset but it will still be wearable. If you do decide to wear the corset as part of an outfit, you can always use a vanity panel to conceal your back. There are tons of videos & blogs online. It's worth checking out some of the burlesque scenes for more advice. A good corset is an excellent investment and if you look after it, you'll have it for years!

Good luck!
