Cruising

Hey, We are going on a cruise and wondering if anyone has brought toys with them as your bags get taken for security and delivered to the room.

Hi! I’m also going on a cruise soon and have been wondering the same thing, from what I’ve read it seems to be that sex toys are not prohibited. However, it’s probably best to pack them discreetly so that security don’t ask any awkward questions. I know that Romp do some really discrete Travel toys if you want to play it safe but I from what others are saying online it should be fine.

Enjoy your cruise! And let us know how you get on with bringing toys (:

Also, welcome to the forum! x

Thank you! Yes we have read the same things. We are just going to put our strap on kit, a vibrator and a few other bits in the case and hope for the best

@WaveyAlien what are planning on bringing on your cruise

I think it very much depends on where you are going cruising. If you are in the waters of countries where sex toys are banned, I wouldn’t take them. Anywhere else, you’ll be fine and security will probably have seen far worse! Hold your head high and be proud.

I’ve taken them before, opted for small discrete toys for example a rubber duck shaped vibe one year, mainly in case of bags being opened. But I doubt they would be bothered for any EU/US location. Maybe not for some of the harder line places as previously suggested.

Iv always put them in my carry on. It goes through X-ray but never been pulled aside for them.

Even if your toys are discovered by security checks you can rest assured that you will definitely not be the first people to have this happen.
When a nice lady at Charles DeGaulle airport opened our toy bag to exposed vibrators, a strap-on and lube she didn’t bat an eyelid.

I just smiled sweetly and she closed the bag up again and sent us on our way.

I’m sure it will be fine as other have said even if they do check hold them red cheeks high lol. But as @Peitho has said maybe depending on where you are going. I have never even given it a thought , which is a bit naive and disrespectful of me although I have now checked and it’s all good  but will remember now thank you Peitho.

Checked with someone in the know:

Do not bring handcuffs, these are not allowed and will be confiscated.

Paddles, vibrators, butt plugs etc, plus soft restraints all ok.

Lube ok as no restrictions on liquids other than each cruise line’s individual soft/alcoholic allowances.

Thank you so much

Mini trio of vibrators :sparkles:

We have never encountered any problem with the toys we’ve packed in our checked-in luggage when we’ve embarked on the cruises we have taken.

Weve taken toys on board, just in our cases, yes youll be getting on and off the boat but the toys can stop on. Obviously if your flying to the cruise youll have to catty on any battery ones and see if that country allows them

Hey @WaveyAlien , we are back from our cruise no issues with any toys had a selction dildos vibrators and no problems

I went on my first cruise almost 2 years ago and brought a toy in my bag. I just kept it with the toiletries bag. No issues whatsoever. Cruises are a vacation, it’s kinda expected that people are going to get sexual at some point.
