Just sorting out some of our toys and our crystal jellies dildo isn't so crystal clear anymore, it's gone a bit cloudy and dull.
It's neraly 3 years old and has seen some use, is it time to say bye bye and look for something new...?

I'm surprised it lasted that long TBH.
Jelly is a porus material and due to the chemicals used to make it, they evetually break down (The cloudy look/smell are usually signs)
Due to it being porus you can't fully clean it, no matter how many times you may wash it, bacteria ect can get inside.
Personally I'd advise getting a new one, getting another jelly is your choice, I would however advise a non porus material. I.e Silicone, glass, metal, Ceramic ect! They'll last a long longer too, with correct care they could last a lifetime. x

+1. Time for a new one. That one should NOT go anywhere near anything other than the bin. On the plus side, you get to go shopping now! :)
Definitely need a new one! There are some fantastic ones on here, you should be able to find a replacement in no time! I agree with FrozenAngel in terms of material choice, though those crystal jellies do look very pretty.
Let us know what you opt for and how it is! xx
Yup, it's time for a new one. How about investing in a glass dildo, or perhaps silicone?
I used to have a few jelly dildos, but after a while, they had melted, due to me being daft and storing them all together. Now I know how to store toys seperately and now tend to stick to silicone and glass toys.
We have a silicone one & have tried glass MrsB likes the squishy fell of the jelly... So she's looking for something similar.
Looking forward to shopping for something new. Any recommendations?
Silicone dildos have different firmness. So you can get squishy silicone.
I don't have this dildo, but if you watch the video for it you can see that it is quite squishy. http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=28314
The Tantus Curve has a slight squish to it, but it's more firm.
I have other silicone dildos that are squishy but I didn't get them from here so I can't link them. Maybe someone who uses silicone can give you a hand with this, as although I use silicone I use harder materials with very little give.

Damn it! I have no advice, basically just came on here to be nosy! And then I clicked on your link. I really want that in the multi-coloured version. That's awesome :)
Also to add I can see why your wife likes the squishy ones, I have glass and silicone too, but I also have this:

And I use it loads. I can't really remember why I bought it (the dangers of LH and this forum) but it's become a firm favourite. I know it won't last indefinitely like my glass probably will, but if it had to go in the bin, I have to say I'd buy another x
Jelly products are not body safe, as they are not porous material and can harbour bacteria and germs.
So yes, it is time to chuck your old friend out and get one that is safer :) Silicone, metal, ceramic, glass....lots to pick from :)
I also like the softer feeling silicone toys. I was considering buying this one myself after reading the reviews of this dildo. It sounds quite soft and flexible :) x
