I just had a thought , I wondered if the flavor of cum is different after a vasectomy ? I never tasted my cum right out of the tap before , only mixed with women’s cum . Since I finally overcame the resistance and tasted mine , it is not unagreeable . Of course my pre cum is delectable . Anybody do a before and after taste test ?

Funny enough, I asked this question to one of my friends at work having always wondered if it was less fishy or salty.
He had the operation a couple of years earlier and I thought he’d know the answer. Turns out he’d never tasted himself before (or after) and thought I was some sort of nutcase by thinking he would have.
I then suggested he asked his wife if she had noticed any difference, at this point he got a bit uppity

As only 1 to 5% of cum is sperm, and a vasectomy is to stop the release of sperm in to cum before a man ejaculates I image it doesn’t taste any different, it been that long since I tasted cum that wasn’t my own so I’d struggle to “taste the difference” now!!

Reckon you’d probably not know any difference as usually it’s peoples diets that affects the taste right?!

That’s what I was always lead to believe, it’s pretty much diet that has the biggest influence rather than anything else.

@Yes_man if 5% of my meal was hot chilli I’m sure I would taste the difference, but i appreciate that if its human made the difference between sperm and semen shouldn’t be that great. But as some people say there is difference between precum and there ejaculation maybe there is a taste difference.

Asked the wife and she says no difference. In the weeks after the snip she did originally comment that she felt like there was less liquid/volume, which may have been so, but it seems to have bounced back in the years since then. Any difference was not enough for her to continue remarking upon and I personally think my volume is back to where it was originally. The biggest influence on my cum texture/amount is more directly tied to hydration, diet, and general frequency of orgasm.

Knew he had a vasectomy in the 90’s whilst he was married…just asked if his now ex wife noticed a difference before and after and yep you’ve guessed it she never gave him a blow job before OR after and he never tasted himself either…
