Hi, hoping someone might be able to help. The wand wont power on anymore and I’ve tried resetting the travel lock as suggested, and while it still shows a light nothing happens.
As is typical its less than 13 months old so Customer Care isn’t interested. I’ve misplaced the manual and I’m wondering if theres anything missing that I need to do. Pretty disappointed to be honest as this is not a cheap toy and hasn’t been used very much.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
First thing I would do is make sure it is fully charged. Double check you are using the right charger and that the cable, plug, plug socket are all working fine. If you are charging through a laptop or other device, try using a plug and likewise, if you are using an extension lead, try the outlet directly.
Charging will take the travel lock off. Try pressing and holding the plus button or the middle button (not both together). If you get a light or a short vibration, single press the plus button (or the middle button, but, again, not together).
If that doesn’t work, the toy is probably broken. You said it hasn’t been used much, when was the last time it was used? If a toy is left for too long without use, it can kill the battery.
Funny ours done the exact same thing. We made sure it was fully charged (going off the flashing to solid light) and for the life of us we just couldn’t get it to turn on. As like yourself it was just outside the warranty so no luck there
