Desire male vibrator not turning on

Hi everyone,

Not sure if I’m being silly but my desire suddenly won’t turn on after charging. The buttons illuminate when pressed but that’s it unfortunately. Usual to turn the toy on you hold the + button down. I’ve tried different combinations of button holding in case the travel lock is on but no luck yet. If anyone could offer help I’d be very appreciative.

I did think that it might have a travel lock, but the website doesn’t mention it has one. You might be better contacting customer service :blush:

I haven’t used a Desire toy in a while so I can’t remember which button it is, but have you tried pressing and holding either the plus or the middle button until it lights up (one or the other, not together) and then a single press of either the plus button or the middle button? Some toys have a stand by mode so they switch on and then need another quick press to actually make them vibrate.

Hmm, this doesn’t sound great. The toy does have a travel lock but normally charging disables them. One of the reviews also states:

“One thing I noted was the Travel Lock - normally an important feature when we are allowed to travel.
I have to say, in this case, I am a little disappointed. There is indeed a travel lock on it. When it is applied, if a button is pressed it will give a short double-vibration. Now, if I am in an airport and having my bag checked, I really don’t want that to be happening.”

So, if there are zero vibes when you press any buttons it sounds like it’s brain has got confused or something has broken. Definitely contact customer care though, if you’ve had it less than a year they will replace it.

I had that same issue with a rose toy, it would charge, and light up but not turn on. I think the motor burnt out. I contacted customer service and exchanged it under warranty.

We have the same issue with the wand says it’s charging, then says it’s fully charged but can’t turn it on at all. And of course just outside the warranty period :cry:
