Dildo Circumference

Hey all, I currently have a Dildo that is 4 inches in circumference and want to get one that is larger in circumference. Not sure how much of a jump to make? Do I go 5 inches or I see one which is 5.75 or 6. Is 1 inch a noticeable difference in circumference? Look forward to your thoughts!

From what I have read people tend to go up half an inch but if you feel comfortable with 4 inch circumference and feel like an extra inch would work give it a go and take it slowly with plenty of lube. Maybe warm up first with the 4 inch.

Thanks! Yeah my concern is I don’t want to take too small of a step but also don’t want to take too large of a step. I feel 1 inch may be ok but at the same time I think is that a small step?

I'm afraid I don't have much experience with this personally, but you can get tapered toys that help move between sizes. Something like this perhaps?

Hi Ian!

Thanks for the suggestion, I’m not a fan of this type of toy unfortunately. Much prefer penis shaped

It's a tough one to call from an outsiders view on how much circumference you will able to go up. Do what feels right. Take into account the material too. Glass, steel and some silicone toys don't have no give in them so 5 inch circumference will indeed be 5 inches. Others are softer TPE, softer silicone dildos will have a bit of give so 5 inches may feel more comfortable than say a harder dildo. Have a read of the reviews of the ones you like and if needed post a link to one you are considering and hopefully someone will be able to tell you if the material is giving a little or not.

If it helps to visualise it remember that 1" increase in circumference is roughly 1/3" larger in diameter.

Not sure how that will feel haha I guess there is only one way of finding out!

If you prefer penis shaped, have a look at the 7inch dildos from either King Cock of LH's own "realistic" offerings (the ones without balls). They tend to have a smaller head with their maximum circumfrence not hitting until near the suction cup end of the toy.

I have the King Cock version which I'm not sure if they sell it anymore or not, but the increase in circumfrence is quite gradual. Its not my favourite as I prefer the fullness from a toy that has a consistent circumfrence, but if you are unsure about how much you can handle, it might be the way to go

I saw this one https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=40785 may not be the best looking one but good for a budget buy? What exactly is realistic feel material because it looks super plasticy.
