Has anyone had issues of pvc or silicone dildos peeling on the surface? Only had mine for a month and a half and was cleaning with toy cleaning wipes last night and has I was rubbing it down clean, bits of material were coming off and rolling into little balls that I had to pick off. My partner asked if I had nicked it with my nails or something but I didn’t.
Only with old toys, as in years old, not months. Wouldn’t use it and if you got it from LH and have cleaned and used it as intended, as it sounds, I would consider that toy faulty and worthy of replacement.
Hmm...I've noticed it on a few toys (small nicks or tags) but I thought it was from the mold they are made from maybe? Have they rubbed on something abrasive or been in contact with something that doesn't go with the material? For example, I think silicone lube makes silicone toys melt.
Nothing abrasive and been using KY with it which is water based. I got the dildo from LH, it’s their basic 5 inch one.

Hmm, that doesn't sound good at all.
I know that PVC is porous which can lead to a break down in the material but I didn't think that silicone was, so my other thought is, have you been using a silicone lube or wipes that contain siliocone or oils in as I hear that that can break down the material. Or have you had silicone / plastic toys store against each other as this can also deteriorate the material faster.
I would certainly advise not using the toy again and getting in touch with Customer care (if it is from LH) and see what they have to say.

Usually the old ones or those I failed to maintain them well.
But my King Cock has ripped a few months ago. The PVC has became very sticky and no matter how hard I clean it does not work. Returning to LH is not worth the trouble due to expensive postage. https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=33933
