Dildo suggestions for daily usage

Hey

I’m looking at getting some new dildos for my work, as I’m having some issues with my silicon style ones.

I web cam, so dildos being used daily, with my constant use, I’ve done some damage to my vulva, I do use water based lube, but unfortunately my opening and lips are getting battered.

I do have lots of glass, but I’m finding they’re hitting my cervix and I’m getting a clunky sound, which isn’t pleasurable.

Any recommendations to save my poor lady bits?

Can you give us an idea of the ones you already have? I would have suggested a slim silicone or glass one but you said you aren’t getting on with them. I have vaginismus and sometimes find that I can cause minor injuries if I’m not careful. The only ones I could suggest are silicone or glass because I find them more comfortable.

My favourite comfortable ones are my 6 inch g-spot one because it’s smooth and very slim:

The clear curved one from this set, just use half of it (I prefer the smooth, slim side) and use the other end as a handle, it’s quite short if you only use half of it so it shouldn’t hit your cervix

and my 6 inch dual density dildo, it seems to have been discontinued but there are lots of otger dual density options if you haven’t already got one.

Are you getting aroused enough? I’m sure you already know this but your cervix moves upwards when you are aroused to make room for a penis, if your not aroused then it’s far more likely that you’ll hit your cervix. The position of you cervix also varies during your menstral cycle so it might be worth tracking so that you know when your cervix is lower and you can avoid longer toys around that time.

What lube are you using? Could you try a thicker one - the sliquid natural gel is nice? Or you could try mixing a water based and oil based lube which gives a more slippery feel - the Yes lubes are recommended to be used this way and it was suggested to me by my doctor.

At the risk of this being one that you already have and is giving you trouble, and not being able to speak to daily use, I will say this is the most pleasant recent addition to our dildo collection. It’s bendier, squishier, and more of a smooth silicone than others we’ve picked up (some other silicone toys have a little bit more “grip”, right?) and doesn’t seem to burn through lube the same way some other toys do.

Just thought I’d mention it.

Considering the dildo you’re using arent huge (except for the more sizeable 8 incher), i would recommend looking more into more cushioning lube (anal fisting lube perhaps?) … or… more planned rest for your lady bits.

Pussies can take a battering (unlike my men balls) but they still weren’t evolved for 8h use/per day.

Find smaller dildos, find better lube, but please, also consider you’re over doing it.

Yes def over using it lol

It’s sadly the nature of the job. :woman_facepalming:t2:

My lady bits are sensitive to lube, and condoms, which is a pain, a lot of lubes give me thrush .

I can’t have anything scented :frowning:

We’ve had thrush issues with the otherwise excellent liquid silk lube. I believe the glycol,a sugar derivative contained in it, can upset the vagina flaura balance and act as a source of food to the thrush bacteria in susceptible people.

Glycol is present in most lubes sadly.

Have you tried the sliquid brand of lube? That brand is always glycol free, and the PH of their lubes matches the natural vagina PH.
You could also consider doing away with silicon toys and going for longer lasting silicon lubes (Sliquid have one).

But mainly, consider giving yourself more rest.

I think you have to realise the body is like any other mechanical thing, overuse is gonna cause issues, doesn’t matter what you use, maybe one day work with dildos, the next just the clit, another day breasts etc, if you went to the gym and just done squats for an hour every day, you’d knacker out your knees pretty quickly!

I suspect its the “drag” thats caused by the matt finish of silicone ? You could try PVC toys it tends to have a glossy finish so slides better?

Absolutely. I do wish I could give it a break.

Unfortunately this is my only income, and with rising costs of living etc I can’t see myself getting work elsewhere to cover everything.

With cam I never know who etc and what they want.

Yes I think it’s the drag effect that’s causing it.

I love glass, but my cervix is rather low and I get a clunky almost pain when using, and I love that glass keeps me wet longer, I’ve not tried pvc I’ll check them out.

Strangely I was researching last night about caring for the bum after anal and stumbled across some interesting things like vitamin E oil is meant to be good and even in preparation CBD oil to help relax all down there which I guess in ways could be used on vagina too maybe?!

Dildo wise I’d recommend the King cock brand as their dildos are lifelike with triple density for a real feel

I don’t know much about camming so this probably isn’t going to work but I thought I’d mention it anyway. It sounds like the best thing you could do is to give yourself a break to heal for a while but I understand that might not be possible. Even if you start using a more gentle toy and / or thicker lube, the tissue still needs time to heal. Irritated skin is more likely to react badly to lube too. If you can’t take a break, could you try something different like playing with your nipples (clamps, suckers etc) or a bit of anal play if you enjoy it (not for everyone but thought I’d mention it).

If you’re sensitive to lube I’d highly recommend the sliquid ones (I use the natural gel one), I react to most things and this was one of the only ones that I could tollerate when my skin was bad. If you are prone to thrush, avoid oils and lubes containing glycerine. Silicone lubes are also good because the are unreactive and don’t contain lots of preservatives which are often the ingredients in lube that cause problems.

Thank you.
I never was sensitive, but recently I’ve had lots of UTI’s and soreness, I’ve put it down to stress, but been to get checked at my local sexual health clinic and they have said it’s vulva that is damaged, I have some swelling and bruises, and my entrance is sore.

Nipple play is limited as I have both nipples pierced and after a year, still can’t fiddle with them, as they get angry lol :joy:

Hey @Justthetwoofus2007, I sympathise with you! You’re right, it’s an unwanted side effect of the job
I use silicone dildos quite a lot and while I like silicone, the way it feels to the touch etc it does have a huge amount of drag if used repeatedly or for extended periods.
Yes glass is lovely but as the user of a tip activated sex toy I find I have to remove it first before inserting the glass dildo as the clanking of the two together feels unpleasant!
@AJSTAR made a good suggestion about the King Cock brand. They have super life like feeling skin and a nice flexibility but they tend to be rather large in size. In fact any dildo with a triple density core is preferable for lots of usage.
Thicker lube might help if you can find one that agrees with you, just to add an increased barrier between the toy and your vulva. The UTI and soreness is pretty unpleasant isn’t it… I’ve been there! I now use lashings of Liquid Silk lube, it feels very natural.

This Lovehoney basics dildo is a regular in my ass I find it the perfect firmness and it’s great with lube too it just seems to stay stuck to it, I’ve never experienced any discomfort no matter how hard she rams it in

What about looking for one thats a bit thinner. What size are you using now?

Lots of warm bubble baths and loose underwear to help recover.
