Definitely some guys lie about it same as they lie about weight. I guess it's mainly on dating sites/apps to make themselves look better without realising that it'll backfire if they ever meet anyone.
As a member of a swinging site, guys want to show off their peen and greatly exagerate the size. It is rare to find a guy who knows what inches are. Had many exclaim they're 8 inches plus and when you meet them, they're just average 5.5 inches. I don't know where they measure from. Wouldn't mind, but average suits me well, so why not be honest?
Height is another measurement they get wrong. I'm 5'5" and a guy will say he's 6 foot, you meet and he's barely 5'8"

In my experience yes, but only if they're average or lower. The only people who haven't at least alluded to it are my husband who is very well endowed and a former guy who was absolutely enormous, to the point of terror. I am small and it was actually quite scary. I really don't get why anyone would want to have a huge penis - in my experience smaller than average works just fine if you know what to do with it, but maybe I would feel differently if I were bigger!
Yes some guys lie. In the company of other guys I guess it's an "alpha male" thing? Penis size had become such a hot topic and the obsession with that I can't imagine many guys wanting to suggest anything that implies that they are a well hung stallion who can go all night because "bigger is better". The reality is obviously very different in terms of what partners desire and what guys feel comfortable being equipped with.
can honestly say i have never lied, never had many conversations about it however other than making facile jokes about it and never given a shit either. Its not been something i have had hang ups about.

Theres no point lying and saying its bigger than it is, bigger isnt always better! Im 8.5 with a decent gerth, and having sex with my ex was a nightmare, i couldent fully get in all the way without hurting her, so it always ended up going to oral, im not complaining tho :p
Well my dick is still at 5.5" long and a girth of 4.5". I just measured it and that is what it says. It was bigger when I was younger, but now it has shrank some. May be it shrank do to being in my 60 'S. So I am not lying about that at all.
