I like deep penetration - but I think it's largely dependent on the *possible* depth. I like the feel of his base/pelvis pressing on my skin so I don't think it's actually how deep it goes, rather it being as deep as it *can* go.

My husband is quite large, so going too deep in some positions hurts.
As Ad says, it is nice to feel his pelvis pressed against me, there's something really intimate about knowing you physically can't get any closer to someone.
I love sliding up and down the first 3 or 4 inches.
I agree with you here, I like it when he goes just as far as he can, every now and then resting there for a while while he is pressing gently.
Him being on top, then my legs up towards his shoulders is too deep. It hurts, I dont really like that.
My wife enjoys deep penetration at times -- in particular, as a way of finishing her off after she's had an orgasm. We're lucky (I think!) that I almost fill her during normal penetration, but if I bend my wife's legs up towards her shoulders then I can reach slightly further to bump gently against her cervix. I understand that a lot of women don't like that sensation, but my wife does as long as it's not too strong.
As Ad suggested, my wife says that she likes the feeling of intense closeness and fulfillment as much as the deep penetration itself. To me, it feels great that my pelvis bumps against hers just as I reach her maximum comfortable depth.

I can't speak for "most women" (we're all different!) but I do like deep penetration. For us, the best position for this is doggy, but then it can be almost too deep, my poor cervix can get a bit of a bashing!
I really like it deep. And hard. As has already been mentioned, having a partners pelvis pressed into me feeling as close as we can possibly be is wonderful.

not straight away..this can be painful for me, but i couldnt reach climax without it being deep so after a bit its good lol as long as it goes in at the right angle the deeper the better, but once its in like that i like it to stay there and rock about lol! lots of 'in out' movement deep wudnt make me come, but feels amazing after ive came from the deep rocking lol!

I agree actually, in & out feels great, but it's that deep, deep rocking motion that makes me come too!
Deffinatly deep,either doggy or legs on his shoulders :)
