So me and the OH went to our first fetish event last night and totally loved it. We've both been invited back to their next event which is their biggest event of the year and we've been told to dress to impress.
But of course the next event is dress to impress. I could wear the same outfit again but where's the fun in that ;)
So if anyone fancies themselves as a personal shopper or kinky fashionista here's my pointers:
- I take about a size 16-18
- I prefer not to wear rubber or latex as they're uncomfortable during play
- I'm about 5"8 so don't want anything too short or exposed that I couldn't cover up as we usually have a drink in the venues bar first
- Something fairly easy removed

It is a rope harness but we'd usually make one of those as part of a scene once we're in the dungeon. It's good to have others watch technique with us still being newbies as they can give pointers afterwards. I like the idea though :)
I have a few idea. Hopefully they'll help. I'm not very comfortable being naked in public so my ideas will reflect that since I was thinking about what kinds of things I would go for. By the end of the night, I don't really care about being covered up but I like being able to undress in small increments.
I've only just seen this but I love it: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=31133 Stockings and a shirt over the top for pre-drinks (maybe with a wide belt as you won't be able to tuck the shirt in) and then just remove the shirt and you are ready to play.
Underwear:
Crotchless or spanking pants allow you to be that little bit more covered if you are shy about getting naked in public.
The first time I went to a fetish event I wore sexy undies, suspender belt and stockings. As I was nervous I also bought a black top from the high street that I guess you would wear with leggings as it has a huge slit in it but I wore it as a dress. It looked sexy but still covering.
maybe you could look for a black wrap dress for the pre drinks, something that could easily be whipped off for play?
I personally love a corset and I try and wear one of those, with a nice thong and stockings. I opt for a front fastening one or zip up so I can easily take it off.
