Edging?

Would anyone have any tips or methods that have helped them edge?

Ive heard that theres a part on the penis you can squeeze down on apparently to help deny or reduce sensation? Any idea if this is true?

Thanks!

Give your balls a wee tug, that’ll stave off the orgasm.

If you can stop your pee mid flow and completely start stop at will even when desperate then you can do the same with your ejaculation all you have to do is exercise your pelvic floor muscles regularly.

While you are mastering that you can use the stop start method, when you know you are close step off the gas and do something else (no I don’t mean go and make a sandwich) once the feeling has passed get back to it.

Delaying gels/wipes 15 minutes before sex.

Squeeze just below the head of the penis if you get close and hold tightly until the sensation goes away. Partner can also do this too.

Thick condoms the bigger the barrier the less sensation.

If you like a little pain your partner can nibble the nob, tug the balls, spanking the monkey but not in the best way -with a flogger or hand etc twist the nipples. Just do something to take your mind off the inevitable climax.

Time for a cup of tea

So we’ve not found a way of stopping the orgasm, but we try to work on getting to where you could easily cum soon and then stopping. Doing it several times is great and usually has quite explosive results :joy:

Think of Margaret Thatcher … she’ll scare away any orgasms …

The edging technique can be used by the man to avoid ejaculating before the woman has climaxed. It involves getting aroused through stimulation, backing off on the stimulation and going to a lower arousal level, and then repeating the arousal/backing off cycle. This is repeated over and over again until finally the final arousal with ejaculation is done. Since it takes a woman much longer to climax than the man, it is very beneficial for the man to practice some form of edging. Edging can allow the man to delay ejaculation for 12 minutes or longer. Since the average time for a woman to orgasm is 13 minutes, edging is very useful. Kegels exercises can be very helpful with holding back the orgasm and holding the erection during edging. A big benefit of edging is that, when the climax and ejaculation eventually occur, the climax can be full body and many times stronger than the localized sensation in the groin that comes from not using edging. Sex therapist Helena Nista also has a YouTube video “HOW TO HAVE STRONGER ORGASMS WITH EDGING” that describes the edging process. Kegels also help with the edging process. Pelvic floor therapist Michelle Kenway has a YouTube video that provides a Kegels exercises beginners guide for men, “Kegel Exercises for Men – Beginners Pelvic Floor Strengthening Guide”; and she also has a real time coaching YouTube video, “Kegels for Men – REAL TIME Daily Kegels WORKOUT”. Kegels trains twitch muscle fibers in the pelvic floor. The slow twitch fibers are endurance fibers, and they work for extended periods of time to build and maintain an erection. Fast twitch fibers are for fast, strong contractions that happen when the muscles rapidly pulsate to ejaculate the semen. For the exercises, Michelle Kenway describes the technique as simultaneously (1 retracting the penis inwards as if a turtle is drawing its head in, (2 tightening and lifting around the anus opening, and (3 thinking about passing urine. The slow twitch fiber exercise is done 10 times for 10 seconds each, and the fast twitch fiber exercise is done 10 times for 1 second each. Both of these 10 times sequences should be done at least 3 times a day and for at least 3 days of the week.

I think that this is what you are thinking of

For masturbation

  1. Begin stimulating yourself keeping a pressure and pace that are comfortable and will get you to climax.

  2. When you feel you’re almost to the point of ejaculation, release the pressure and slow your pace.

  3. Grip the end of your penis, where the head (glans) meets the shaft. Maintain a firm but not tight squeeze for several seconds, or until the feeling of an impending climax passes.

  4. When you’re ready, begin manually stimulating yourself again with a pace and pressure that will help you reach climax.

  5. Repeat the process as desired.

Thank you for all this advice! I will give them a try the next time i can. I remember doing the squeeze method described where you squeeze just below the head, however i think i did it wrong and caused myself to experiance what i believe was a dry orgasm :joy:

@SomeGuy20
I don’t ever edge deliberately
But a few times I’ve been on a cam session with a guy who has quickly had to drop off because his wife’s woken up or arrived home unexpectedly
I’ve been close to my cum and I found if I grab the end of my dick kinda behind the glans and squeeze it stops the ejaculation
I find tho it’s almost like I did cum as after it takes a good 20 minutes to feel like I want to continue with the wank
My most successful delay of orgasms is when I have plenty of time home alone
I watch porn and then maybe cam with a few different guys and chat and maybe watch them cum
Then after a couple of hours I’m so turned on that I’m definitely ready to cum myself
So I cam again and end up being very naughty and don’t try to delay my cum too much
It’s definitely a more intense feeling than a quick cum
More cum and a further spurt too
Enjoy your experimenting and report back to us all

The squeeze method is often mentioned as a technique to prevent ejaculation but doesn’t work for me nor does the ball tug mentioned by others. I started edging in my late teens because I suffered from premature ejaculation I just found that I learnt to recognise how close I was and would change speed etc to ease off before I reached that point of no return. When I masturbate now I still edge myself, I guess it’s just become a habit and my preferred method of solo play.

If you get to the point of arousal where the throbbing starts in your penis, it is too late to stop the ejaculation. That is because the fast twitch muscle fibers that rapidly pulse to do the ejaculation have kicked in, and it is too late to stop them. The squeeze method does not work if the fast twitch muscle fibers have already kicked in. Arousal goes in different stages. There is a helpful chart for this in an article on the web. I usually stimulate until I get a slight tingling down my spine, and then I back off. Then I start the cycle again.
