I wanted to check if anyone had any recommendations on ethical porn.
I found a few from this eye opening article
There’s some interesting stuff (side worrying allegations about xconfessions which was one of my original options), Bellessa looked good for straightforward stuff while 4 Chambers has the arty style that appeals.
Any other recommendations?
This thread makes me happy! I’m not actually a huge porn watcher currently (I definitely go through phases), but when I do I always go for ethical porn now. I find it’s a lot more female pleasure focused, and a lot more inclusive and diverse. As you say, some sites have used the term without actually having the values, but there are lots of places that are legit. I enjoy it so much more knowing that it’s completely consensual, woman are empowered, and sex workers are paid fairly!
Erika Lust is a very well respected film maker, she does lots of good stuff and it’s very diverse. Lustery is a good one for home made films by actual couples. Make Love not Porn is another good one for portraying what sex actually looks like! Bellesa also good!
Would love to hear others experiences and recommendations 
I’m glad. Having a look at the front end of Bellesa rather than the reality TV wing has some good start I think would click with my wife’s tastes.
XConfessions is still on my wish list, the material there has good range and the freebies have been good. Loved the quarantine series! 4 Chambers is very tempting and reasonable so may give that a try.
Good call on this one, again its the sort of sweet spot between our different tastes and less produced than some of the Bellesa material which feels a bit too shiny!

are a few that haven’t been mentioned so far and would all be recommended by me and my wife for different reasons.
I guess the ethical side of it is very personal and depends on your concerns about general (non-ethical) sex/porn industry activities. Many companies seem to publish a ‘mission statement’ and some ethical guidelines they work to so as a consumer we are asked to trust that they stick to the rules they set out.
JoyBear for example say:

There’s also a huge industry in modern times for users to purchase content directly from creators or through platforms like OF, PH or webcam sites where performs are free to set their own rules about working practices but some of that still doesn’t exactly feel ‘ethically focussed’ as far as I am concerned and the lack of accountability of a central company probably makes things worse for many performers. I also feel that some of the ethics should extend to things like aggressive commercial practices/marketing and exploitation of addicted users in the same way the gambling industry operates.

MakeLoveNotPorn, Films by Erika Lust and nsfw subreddits where people like to show off are pretty goo places to find ethical porn I my opinion.
Thanks for your suggestions. I like the idea of the Only Fans things but I think that’s better suited to single people rather than couples.

It’s been really interesting finding out about this stuff and how it counters some of the more toxic behaviours of the main market. What I’ve really liked is the emphasis on fun from the other sites!
Still not entirely sure what ethical porn is but the only porn I watch now is transgender which I am happy to pay for. In addition to some well made films, the ‘Transsensual’ site includes interviews and ‘behind the scenes’ clips. Every one seems pretty relaxed. In addition to enjoying the content, I’m also happy to support these far from mainstream performers
I do like Bellessa and thanks to the comments on this post I can now check out other recommendations.

As previously noted, I think OF is my number one choice currently. I appreciate that for many people on there, they are producing their own content as and when they please without the lack of transparency the porn industry can have. Of course there is still exploitation and bad practices, but I think with OF there is a lot less.
