Favorite sex related podcasts or programs

I seem to remember that Nina Hartley had a cable channel in SOCAL in the late 80’s it was very educational She loves her vaccum does Nina :face_with_hand_over_mouth:?

Being in Canada, many folks through the 80s and 90s would watch the Sunday Night Sex Show hosted by Sue Johansen. She was a longtime nurse and excellent sex educator who covered all kinds of sexual health and sex topics from callers.

This woman is highly regarded by many in her role teaching sex education to young adults and there hasn’t been a similar show to my knowledge since. She passed in 2023. Rest in peace.

I used to watch that program, and found it interesting, sad to see she passed away, very nice woman and good program.

I watch Watts the safe word on YouTube. It’s a fun channel with 2 gay men based on kinks.

Are those podcasts on going or old broadcasts? I’m curious to try to listen to them,

Are ongoing I believe. You can find all of them online.

Thank you I’ll look for them.

I listened to a couple episodes on Shameless Sex, and it was interesting. One of them was about communicating and how that opens doors. I might need to go back and listen to that again. One of the issues I feel is you need to have a wiling partner and I’m not sure I do at this point.

Understand and agree.

Tis why I made a comment to you previously about not wanting you to have to push the boulder up the mountain alone…

Not pushing the boulder alone, having my second session with my therapist today. I have been listening to several podcasts from Honeydew Me, where they talked about dealing with mismatched libidos, and they were helpful to some degree in understanding how to deal with it. Almost universally, the common theme was communicating about the problem with your partner in ways that were not blaming. I have to say, my OH has been much “ warmer” toward me over the past few days, though no overt sexual advances . There is still the undercurrent of tension, and her chirping at me when she disagrees with something I say or do. That is one of the big items I will be working with to try to reign in. Again, after listening to the podcasts, I realize there is going to need to be some dialogue about our differences in libido, and how to deal with that. Trying to have that conversation without getting into a screaming match is going to be tough.

Speaking of Sex by the pleasure mechanics is great. Very sex positive and validating. Their episode on prostate milking is amazing. Also many other great discussions.

I can definitely recommend “Vanilla to Vixen” or the “Sexless Swingers”. Yes they’re based around swinging and the lifestyle but they also talk about normal relationships. Also quite a few naughty stories that may get your motor running if that’s what you’re after

I haven’t tried the Speaking Of Sex yet, it is on my list to try. I am most interested in any information dealing with mismatched libidos and how to deal with that. And any articles that are regarding to helping females orgasm better and be more aroused.

How to Build A Sex Room on Netflix….Melanie Rose…amazing. Surprised it hasn’t already come up. Only one series but her ideas and designs are delightful.

Also for podcasts, Dr Lori Beth Bisbey is pretty good, she explores lots of interesting topics!

Is that the Dr Lori from open house?

I am really enjoying the Swapping Secrets Podcast at the moment. Its by the owners of OSS (a swingers/sex club in Australia). Some spicy stories and a bit eye opening about the lifestyle.

Also enjoyed sex.life Podcast with sexologist Morgan Penn. I love the kiwi accent and boy does she have some tales to tell!

Favourite is ruby ryder then honeydew me also curious girl podcast and dear nikky
