Favourite theme park ride old or new?

Corkscrew Alton towers. Was the best at the time and still great now.

Agree with that Stuburns.

But my all time favourite was the "Grand National" at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. (Really showing my age now - I wonder if it is still there?)

Old - But not THAT old! wrote:

remember the grand national aint been to a theme park for an age did like the big dipper

Stealth at Thorpe Park, especially in the front seat. Nothing like being catapulted forwards to 82mph in 1.8 seconds and then 205ft into the air and back down

The Tea cups at Disney land : P I am scared of heights but I like them but I hate not having control ! Once I on I am ok aim this year is to go to a theme park x

The first rollar coaster I rode is still my favourite - but it's a bit tame compared to some others...

Dragon Khan in PortAventura

Awesome! I love theme parks. <3

TTurtle - agreed. Stealth is epic. Mind you, I really like Thirte3n and the good old oblivion at alton towers.

Yes, the grand national is still at Blackpool :)

Air at Alton towers

The aerosmith ride at disneyland paris :-) went on it 11 times in 3 days haha xx

I agree with this so step forward the wooden structure roller-coaster in Helsinki, Finland. Not the most exciting by todays standards, but it was as a 9 year old

For me it’s the Original Nemesis ride at Alton towers followed closely by the Hulk in Universal studios Florida

Air at Alton Towers!

The wild Wild West ( like the film) wooden roller coaster in Germany

The black hole at Alton Towers was really good in my younger days.

Is it still there? I haven't been for years. It was also the last time I went on a long journey by coach.

I can't stand coaches. So I sit coaches.

Sheikra at Busch gardens

Best ride in the world!

I have a few... The Incredible Hulk at Islands of Adventure, Space Mountain at Disneyland Paris, Rock 'n' Roller coaster at Disnleyland Paris and Disneyworld.

Might be off to Busch Gardens this year so maybe one of theirs will top the list. :)

X in Six Flags Magic Mountain (California). Went there like 10 years ago... Now they upgraded it into X2, need to fly back there !

Good thing I searched before starting a new thread lol, well, I would have to say SAW at Thorpe Park, I'm going sometime in the next week or so, I always get so excited to go, until I see the rides face to face, then I panic but once I'm on them I find them slightly boring lol :( maybe I should keep them as a fantasy because they're more exciting that way lol
