My wife is opposite (or inverse?) of what you’ve described, except that she doesn’t have any trouble with orgasms, but where subsequent orgasms take more work and are less rewarding, so all things being equal she’s one and done. As such, when we do have time for a long play it’s more rewarding to edge just a bit. I enjoy especially going down on her and edging at least three times before she orgasms. I find it’s a funny one. Edging once or twice (or three, four, five times) is fine and fun but after a while it gets really irritating for me, and not in a fun way.
