A tape measure?
Thereās no hope. ![]()

I could just Google, i have the power ![]()
![]()
Thatās your prerogative, how am I to know if you do or donāt?
I love riddles but Iām a bit stuck on this one⦠all I can think of is a tie ![]()
Again a good answer and it fits the riddle but not my first thought.
Iām stuck in a knot then
The first thought
answer to my riddle and definitely not the only one as you all proved.
Was Sestbelt,
Told you it would make you roll your eyes @Tenshadesandme
What we all have to ask though is when we do get to read the blog is it tea and toast or tea and a scone or something else?
Certainly not tea.
I got told to go to bed, so I did, now iām in trouble for going to bed like I was meant to? Gees, you domestic Dominants are more indecisive than the weather ![]()
@Natalie whatās wrong with tea? How can you⦠itās tea ![]()
Lol⦠Iāll take a coffee in the morning to get going.
But tea⦠itās just so⦠english⦠and itās just not my cup of tea. ![]()

Iāve got no problem with anyone drinking tea⦠itās all up the them.
Nothing wrong with being English, apparently not all of us agree though eh @JGood ? ![]()
unless ur not English⦠but happy for those who are ![]()
But of course, how could I forget? Youāre from down under, arenāt ya?
And indeed, I donāt say as weāre perfect, just that thereās nothing wrong with being patriotic ![]()
love to see people proud of their culture and country⦠itās what makes for great banter.
History is full of stories and problems.
And yes⦠I love that people can chat, play and post from all over the world⦠at all different times
Absolutely. Sometimes itās sensitive, sometimes people are aware of those sensitivities and can come to a place of understanding on them. I have many penpal friends who are Indian. The Koh-i-Noor has been discussed plenty of times, but itās never been a bone of contention between us ![]()
I appreciate when people can stop and acknowledge that their own cultureās past isnāt perfect.
But it also allows us to learn, grow and change. As someone with UK ancestry, I wouldnāt have been born here with the tales of History.
Still not a fan of tea though.
Tea?
It takes humility, and itās something that Iām proud of - being able to empathise but refusing to appease. Thereās nothing wrong with patriotism, but there is a lot wrong with nationalism!
Itās interesting how history shapes us, both past and future. One of the social workers who changed my life for the better was a black man, and as such, Iāve long attributed it to him for my ability to empathise with black people. I donāt understand their struggles fully because I am not one of them, but I can listen, try to understand and try to do better than what my ancestors did. Thatās not only applicable to black people but all people - we have the ability, now, to shape our future, regardless of the past ![]()
ETA: for anyone interested, one of the bloggers that I support is The Colors Of Kink, a proudly black man exploring and spanning the history of racism within the kink community. You can check out his blog at: www.thecolorsofkink.blogspot.com (although he hasnāt posted in 5 weeks
