There's only a year for them to film and produce one of the biggest erotic stories of all time... do you think they can do it? We're all a bit excited here...

Told my OH last night that they had a release day and she was dancing around telling me I have to take her.
After a quick research I also found that Robert Pattinson is still favourite to play Christian Grey. For me I think that could be interesting, I think he'd portray the role well and it would show a very different part to his acting style.
However I think it will open a lot of criticism from people who can't disassociate Pattinson with Twilight. It would be good if people would see him for what he is and look past the actor and at the character instead. If they manage to do that then I would guess most women will LOVE the film.

Will all three be made into films? If so I'm guessing one out in 2014, another 2015, and the next 2016? Just guessing.
I can't wait! I do wonder what rating the film will have though. I love robert too, so it's win win for me!
Hrmm, wasn't too keen on the book. I just don't see how they can make a movie out of it without making a porn movie! I'm going to watch it anyway!
Definitely do not want Robert Pattison to play Christian, it would be too Twilight-y. I hope they pick someone who isn't well known but who fits the description.
Im looking forward to it. I wasn't a fan of the book as erotic fiction but didn't mind the story for what it was, think it could work well as a film. Although i am curious as to how they'll handle all the sex scenes.

how are they going to do this without it being porn? (soft porn i know) but still the cinemas will be packed
Not my cup of tea although the wife did enjoy it, I can't see me going to the pictures to watch it that's for sure.
BUT I wouldn't mind watching the porn version that is flying around but maybe banned now due to copyright.
Surely if this replicates the book adequately, it's gonna be a porn film???? If it doesn't have all the sex, then I think it'd be a bit dull, yes I understand about the relationship dynamics etc, but as the book is SO well known, it will be hard to replicate well in film, I believe. Not sure I'm that fussed about seeing it...
Kinda like the appalling casting of Tom Cruise in the Jack Reacher film haha!

- I can't picture Robert Pattinson in the role at all, just no.

I agree.. I will be really dissapointed if he is played by Robert Pattinson. If I wasn't looking forward to seeing it so much I would not go to the cinema to see it in protest lol x
I hate, hate, hate the book but Robert Pattinson is so wrong for the part. He couldn't tell me the time never mind tell me what to do and dominate me, I would spend the 90 mins killing myself laughing.
If Ian Somerhalder or Matt Bomer played Christian Gray, I would consider watching just because they are both so pretty.
Dreadful, dreadful books. Not sure there's even enough story to make a film! I don't see how they are going to make it without it being a soft porn film
