Films to watch with your partner

I'm trying to find some explicit films my gf and I can watch together, not porn, but erotic films that heavily feature sex. We have watched "9 Songs" which was good, and I have had a look on the internet and found things like "Sex and Lucia", and "Room in Rome", andam wondering if anyone else seen these, and whether they are any good or not, or if they could recommend something else??

It's something neither myself and OH have explored, but we've now got the films you've mentioned in our watched list, can't wait to watch them :) Thanks for the tip Shaftmaster :)

Just found "Shortbus". Looks there's a bit too much man on man for my liking, but thats just one part of a whole range of acts that go on. Might be worth a look if you're still keeping your eye out for similar films?

Also, "Room in Rome" is essentially just a lesbian remake of "En La Cama", if your partner was wanting something with at least one man in it.

taboo ! :P

Story of O. mainly BDSM but its a fantastic film with a great plot even if you'r not into all the spanking. sex is all simulated i think but me and my partner both loved it.

if you want a horor movie with lots of sex then Zombie Girl...but thats quite odd and mainly just Zomby rape.

sleaping buity doesnt have any sex due to the fact that the people who employ her to litraly sleep with me dont allow penetration. its an interesting film tho.

Hi ShaftMaster.

I suppose a lot depends on where you draw the line between erotic and porn? But I rather like the way some porn is filmed in what appears to be a more artistic way. This for me tends to make it more erotic than porn.

Have you ever seen any of the stuff from X-Art or Passion-HD?

They do most of the things done in "normal" porn but without hamming it up so much and the lighting is usually great.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys.

I have/do. I use that site so much even just generally, and the "Parental Guide" section is definately a great help when looking for more 'specialist' films

I this context, I was thinking more in terms of 'mainstream' films, ie, films that are/have been shown in general cinemas. I agree that some porn can easily be classed as erotica, and I definately prefer this end of the porn spectrum myself, but it is still different.

Porn isn't something my gf is that interested in, and cinematic films will always have better production values rather than just lighting, and are also stroy/character/thematicaly driven, with narratives that explore ideas and themes of sex, rather than just people doing it for the sake of it.

Plus, on a stuent budget, DVD's from amazon are always cheaper than monthly online subscriptions

We enjoyed - The Forbidden Legend: Sex & Chopsticks

There is a sequel too but we haven't got round to watching that yet

It's not a film but I think Spartacus would be right up your street!

It's not a sex scene as such but the kiss scene in the Runaways makes me instantly wet!

What about LustCaution? That's a pretty good film, with the longest sex scenes I have ever encountered, ever. My mum walked in when I was watching it and genuinely thought I was using the 32" TV to watch porn.

That was a GREAT conversation (well, more her yelling and me wailing about it being a foreign film and therefore she should be proud of her daughter's culturednosity).

Lol was just typing Lust Caution when you posted :)

Someone else who's seen it! High-five!

And the same :)

Forgot about this one actually. My housemate has it with the regular DVD's, and I've always been curious but embarassed to watch it. And I'd feel wrong watching someone elses DVD for certain other reasons . . .
