Probably not to over think it too much and not get too tied up into the different patterns that are availble. Inner sleeve dimensions count for a bit, i.e tight or a bit looser feeling but not so much the patterns in my experience. My preference is for the loose fit feeling a bit more realistic.
Don’t get too caught up on the person it’s modelled on. It really doesn’t impact the experience, plus you’re probably going to be watching porn or something anyway. If you’re going to go down on it, or watch their porn as you use it, or use your imagination etc then sure it may add to the experience but I’d value the feel of the sleeve more than the idea.
You probably don’t know what type of sleeve or texture you like yet. You can buy what looks or sounds like a nice sleeve, but you probably don’t know what that texture feels like unless you’ve tried it before. To be honest often I think many of the textures aren’t too discernible to put too much focus on. The main textures I’ve noticed a definite difference on is the width/tightness of the canal, and the ones that have that little tight barrier (eg that bit you see towards the middle of the Kazumi sleeve).
I’ve bought some that on paper sounded nice and I wasn’t into. I’ve also chanced some ones without much expectation and have been blown away. My current favourite, for what it’s worth, is probably Janice Griffith Eden sleeve.
This may not be very helpful but t just take a punt and hope for the best, then when you’re able to get another one that is totally different so you can build up a bit of a picture.
The way id decide is how I like to masturbate. So if you like a tight grip get a smaller canal fleshlight. If you like to lube up and relax your grip and slide it then get a bigger canal fleshlight. I think the opening type is down to preference on what you fantasise, weather it’s vaginal or anal. Now the pattern inside can obviously determine the feeling on the penis gland. So me personally would go for something with more features inside.

As others have mentioned, i haven’t found a huge difference that would be make or break for one specific sleeve. Tightness is the most significant factor in my mind but beyond that, it’s just vibes. Try not to overthink it too much.
