The difficulty here is expectation of what the other wants. A lot of people think the blokes like spanking and only the dirty women like receiving.
A lot of women like being spanked but think it makes them sound dirty/kinky and the bloke's is going to think less of them.
There's also the thing of sex being natural and spontaneous which doesn't necessarily fit in with spanking.
