Hi, guys and girls. I’m new to this forum and quite new to male sex toys in general.
I bought a Tracey Cox Stamina Cup about two years ago and was thinking of getting something new.
Fleshlight is always the brand name you hear when it comes to male toys, so I was wondering if anyone had any advice on whether they are worth that price tag, what the best sleeve is or whether there is better from other companies available.
I can’t afford one right now, but I’d like the advice for future reference or if I miraculously come into money haha.
If you sort the male masturbators section by price, there are a handful of smaller, affordable strokers if you don’t want to wait or if you want to get a cheaper one while you save up for a more expensive one. I’d say think about what you want - What kind of opening do you want (vagina/anus/mouth/non-anatomical)? How long and tight do you want the canal to be? What kind of texture are you looking for (most of them will have a photo of the texture of the canal)? Then once you’ve narrowed down your options, read a bunch of reviews
I personally would recommend the Tenga Fliphole as I think the sensations it gives you are better then the fleshlights and it opens up, so it is easier to clean and dry.
For me, the Quickshot simply wasn’t worth the extra effort compared to going in manual. Sometimes the feeling of poking out of the hole then pulling back through was even uncomfortable. It felt too tight inside the plastic case on my penis and if I were to use it now, I’d just use the floppy sleeve Of the male masturbators I’ve tried, this is obviously the to use in combination with oral.
The Fleshlight Go STU was a big step up in my opinion. The full length, suction and closed feeling is a much different experience to using a hand. I couldn’t really feel the internal texture too much - though I’m not sure how much that really matters for me. Still works. I’ve used it maybe 5-10 times and it’s very “tacky” now. I know I’m supposed to use “renewer powder” or corn starch on it every so often but I have just never bothered.
The Thrust Pro Ultra STU is very similar to the Go. It’s a bit bigger and heavier, and is harder for me to hold. It’s got most of the same features and maybe even a couple extras. I thought the phone holder in the lid was a bit of a gimmick but now I actually use it fairly often … The biggest difference in my opinion between the Thrust Pro Ultra and the Fleshlight Go besides the price is the sleeve material. The Thrust feels slightly firmer but in a good way. It feels more durable to me and I can feel the internal texture a little bit more. Again, I’m not sure how much the texture even matters to me but I can feel it more so worth mentioning. The sleeve is much easier to remove and insert because of the cases more cumbersome cone shape. And I’ve used it probably 10 times the number of times I’ve used the Fleshlight and it’s way less “tacky” with no maintenance.
They all have the same internal texture, so I can’t comment on how good the different textures feel in comparison. I’ve got full reviews live on the Fleshlight Go and the Thrust pages.
Thank you all for the advice. I tried the Tracey Cox Stamina training one ages ago as my first actual stroking toy and enjoyed it for what it was.
It wasn’t mind blowing but for a first timer it worked.
I’m not sure about the Fleshlight brand, but I bought a Lovehoney Solo Mission Real-Feel Male Masturbator when it was on special and it feels absolutely incredible. Clean-up is a bit of a pain though, but I would think any Fleshlight style masturbator would have the same problems
There a lot of masturbators that I could recommend and I feel it’s worth looking at all of them before purchasing. Fleshlight for me are my favourite style as I enjoy the realistic nature and being moulded from somebody as it does add to the pleasure during play.
The Tenga flip hole are something else and the ranges of pleasures that are experienced is amazing as there is different textures inside them to offer something different.
Then there is the Thrust range from Lovehoney these are similar to fleshlight but depending on space that you got to keep your toys the larger toys in the range are fantastic to enjoy and very realistic and a sense of naughtiness to them.
It’s difficult to actually recommend a toy as each individual will have a different experience.
That said, overall I have found the Fleshlight range to be the better. I purchased my first Fleshlight many years ago and enjoyed using it, years later I purchased the Flight which was a huge improvement on the earlier versions.
I have used a Vaginal and anal toy which was okay to use but not as good as the Fleshlight, for me personally anyway. Fleshlight do both but not combined as far as I am aware.
I would recommend the fleshlight range but as said earlier, each person can have a different experience. If you wanted to go with a Anal Vagina toy, probably best buying one of the more expensive one’s.
Highly recommend the Tenga Fliphole as well. It has great suction, fits most sizes, and is so easy to clean. However, it is on the pricey side. Design wise they look like a portable speaker and they don’t stand out.
The ones we’ve found most valuable for the price are from THRUST. Inexpensive and they do the job well. They are not difficult to clean but they do take longer to dry than the Tenga Fliphole so do keep them somewhere that is clear from dust and airy. They are also smaller (tighter but short in length). We have been purchasing one twice or so a year (depending on frequency of use). If you do plan on getting one from THRUST, we recommend getting the renewer powder for maintenance.
Another to consider is the Blowmotion warming vibrating fleshlight. They are great for edging and it offers multiple vibrations with adjustable strengths. Battery life is somewhere between 1-2 hours but thats plenty. It has great warming effect too. The only downside is that it is very short (as expected) but it is more than enough to give you a good time. Suction is also great but they can be loud.
