I only have the Bondage Boutique Faux Leather Intermediate Flogger, it's good but doesn't hurt very much. We mostly love using it for sensory play and for working up to our riding crop. If you really get into th swing of it it can leave a sting, but not as much as a crop or paddle.

thankyou for that just want to buy the right one first time

This was our first flogger and I think it's been a good choice :) depends how much pain you want as that one you linked to I imagine leaves more of a sting xx

which flogger did you start with?

we have been looking at the on on this feed.

as for pain we are new to bdsm but think we are ready for a flogger now

Here's my review of my first flogger - http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=15815&reviewid=107744#customer_reviews

Thank you :)

Hope you enjoy which ever flogger you go for

The icicles glass handled one! Its beautiful!

(I seem to remember it didn't come up under the floggers section when I bought it but I'd seen it before and was able to track it down)

under glass dildos

We have the same type as Boo . I very much like BB stuff as the quality is very good. It is more of a skin sensory toy by dragiing it over your partners naked body ( best blindfolded for this ) . To get a little sting out of it you will need to swirl it in a figure of 8 motion over your partners naked body. Just the odd strand will leave a little sting. Unlike the other implements such as a paddle this is inaffective over clothes .

It may have a starring role in a Pirates roleplay we are planning. I ma not sure if tis going to be me who gets flogged or my OH.

Oh, and because the BB faux flogger isn't too painful it feels really good when used on the inner thighs, and other sensitive areas which you couldn't use a crop on. Just feels like a nice warm tingle :)

If you want to try one the cotton rope one is a bit different. It certainly packs a sting but is not as painful as a crop. I think it is a bit cheaper than the leather ones.

This is the Flogger I was talking about above.

most helpfull will get a flogger soon iam sure

dont like the look of that so much

The BB one which myself and Boo use is an ideal beginners one because you would have to really swing it hard with a lot of force ( not recommending you try this by the way! ) to hurt anyone with it . It really is a gentle giant .

The rope one is the type I have been looking at for possible inclusion in some roleplays. but I would classify it has an intermediate type but never the less a good alternative choice as "AsYouWish" recommended.

I don't know if you're interested, but my faux leather flogger review went live today if that would help you make a decision :)

As mysteron said, 'gentle giant' is a great way to describe this! It's a great beginners flogger, not too painful, but can sting a little at times.
