I don’t want to sound really creepy (I acknowledge, that just starting this post by saying that probably does make me sound creepy 
) but I have always wandered if any of you find yourselves getting massively turned on by the photo uploads of folk wearing all manor of gorgeous clothing on the forum? I can’t find another post talking about this and just wondered if that’s coz it’s not polite to admit these things or am I just odd?

Nope, I am a women and not attracted to women but I am a lingerie lover. Even the pictures of men don’t get me going but some do wear nice lingerie though. I just think everyone is very brave to post their pictures.

I am with @Wood-Nymph nope too. I am a man and also love lingerie (on women) and although not attracted to men think the men are rocking it too! I like seeing what lingerie is out there and what underwear there is for men. Seems like harmless fun to me. Brave to post photos, would like to too sometime….

It’s been on the border line sometimes when it comes to some members posting in the lingerie appreciation thread.
Sometimes it just feels creepy like it’s a porn appreciation thread.

It’s always a fine line. I get a similar thing with my work as well — some people genuinely appreciate my work (great), but I’ve got a man who regularly blows up my email inbox and way overshares. I’m happy he’s happy but I don’t/want need to know. The problem is once you open that door you can’t usually close it without difficulty, even when you really want to.

As well as a category for member appreciation of their purchases I also think at times its good for a visual on what certain items look in terms of fit and style like when worn on everyday folk, especially given some items dont have model imagery on site, and also we aint all models so its sometimes helpful to see the fit on various body shapes.

I like when people say what lingerie they are wearing and put the LH link. It’s nice to see the lingerie on people other than the models. I’ve purchased based on the lingerie posts

Hazard of the job. I’ve got a couple of those. I also had a guy who wanted me to order him around, tell him when to wank or not wank etc. Nope, not my thing.

I don’t think you need to feel sorry that your post encouraged some debate, as I read it you were well meaning and honest.
The others highlighting their thoughts is helpful in bringing awareness to people to always be complimentary in a good way and not get too carried away.

As @Simon_101 said, your intentions were good. You are not responsible for other people’s actions, so why should you apologise for them? They’re not sorry for what they do! As long as your intentions are good and you stay within the forum rules, you have nothing to be sorry for
