thinking of having a frenum piercing
has anyone got one.had one??
any advice on pros and cons??

I've heard the "magic cross" 1 vertical 1 horizontal can feel good, healing time extended due to thickness , I've got a PA don't think I could do the other and given I like a bit "sounding" it would need to be removed each time, getting back in might be harder than expected?
I don't have any advice or experience, but I think it looks good. Would you consider stretching it later on? Many of the photos I found on google have very small barbells (look like 1.6mm with rather small balls attached). I am not *that* sensivite in there, so larger attachments would provide more stimulation. No matter the piercing size, it looks fun to rub against!
I've had sex with a guy who had a PA stretched to 3-4mm and it felt great, especially because his penis was quite short and the piercing was hitting my g spot =)

Do you have any particular questions about the piercing itself, paulsballs?
Mostly I would say do your research and be very choosey about which body piercer you go to. All body piercers are not equal.
(I'm assuming you're referring to the penile frenulum, right?)

Secondly, your post makes the piercing sound very scary!
Remember that even the smallest of cuts on the penis during arousal (when it's FULL of blood) will create quite a scene!
Also, I'm not surprised your partner was sore for weeks. Even the cleanest teeth are covered in bacteria, and would have caused a tear, rather than a clean cut. This would have greatly increased his healing time.
The penis must be flaccid during a piercing, so there should be little-to-no blood if performed properly, and the person getting the piercing isn't on any blood-thinning medication. Plus the piercing is performed using a sterile hypodermic needle which creates a clean slice through the skin, creating minimal trauma and giving the body its best chance to heal properly and quickly.
Frenum / Frenulum piercings are fast healers when given proper aftercare, and it's a very thin piece of skin, which makes the procedure quic, easy and pretty painless.
