So me and my Master were just talking about our parents and friends reactions to finding out what we were into and we were wondering what other peoples experiences were like.

when it came to friends we were both rortunate to find we had a friend who understod. he had a friend who considered himself a sub and i chose to talk to my friend that has two mums so is more open to things outside the norm than others. when i was still into reletively light BDSM however i tried to tell my best friend who i have known all my life she was totaly freaked despite the fact we had talked about sex bfore, she had even been realy interested in my account of my first time anal. when i tried showing her Lovehoney and bondara however she wasnt so interested but prahaps i did start with some of the slightly less vanilla stuff under the excuse of "lets try and find the strangest/ scaryest thing we can"
I am not that into BDSM, I basically am switch, although bit more inclined to submissive in bed. But I can and I do take charge. And this only goes as far as the bedroom, outside not. So my parents do not know nor does my sister.
But my friends do know about few kinks, but I do not have that many - spanking, anal, gentle clamps (and I do mean gentle, I tried stronger and could not take it). They were very supportive.

Friends I tell as and when. I was mostly outed at a drunken party a few years ago. We all disclosed our sexual preferences and it seemed okay to share with them. They were all fine with it and just asked loads of (polite and non judgemental) questions. I know some of them are slowly getting into it themselves!
I don't think my parents would be surprised. I was always told off for 'dominating' my boyfriends when I was younger, I guess I am a bit of a bossy boots! Now I no longer live at home there isn't really much reason for them to find out. My friends think its hilarious, my housemates always make jokes about my bf being tied up in my room when I go out or taking my whips out with me on a night out lol.
