Has anyone tried & enjoyed a Ballgag or even better, a spider gag?!
As a man receiving oral sex when the other person is wearing a spider gag, it can be a little weird.
I’m maybe very slightly thicken than average girth, and when receiving in the past I’ve always filled the gag so it feels a little like you’re having sex with a metal ring when they go up and down/you go in and out. Sounds more pleasant than it actually is. These gags can be really wide anyway so I can’t imagine they’d be very comfortable to wear in the first place, let alone asking someone to wear a bigger than average one.
On paper though, an unobstructed clear pathway to the back of the throat sounds like a dream! The reality, for me at least, has been slightly disappointing.

I wear a ring gag or a gag with a built in dildo.
I wear the ring gag when she wants to fxxk my mouth with the didlo but, to be honest, it’s not a great success. The biggest ring that I can take in my mouth is too small to allow most of our dildos through so we had to buy a special small dildo to use with this gag. I suspect you may have a similar problem with a spider gag.
The gag with the built in dildo is more successful, at least from my point of view.
She puts this on me for impact play or for general BDSM sessions. It feels nice to be forced to suck a dildo while she’s doing things to me.

The wife and I love a bit of bondage and gags in particular are a major kink for me. We have got a good collection including multiple ballgags and spider gags.
A ballgag is my personal favorite, although I love it either way round I actually slightly prefer to be the wearer. I find myself feeling very submissive in a gag, especially if my hands are tied and blindfolded too.
Spider gags (and ring gags) are also great. I like to wear one when my wife sits on my face and makes me lick her. I am quite helpless against the juices all over my face and in my mouth which really turns me on. Receiving oral while she wears one is a mixed bag depending on the size of the gag which has to be just right. As Gareth says above, most gags are a tiny bit too small and (assuming your penis fits through at all), it can be quite tight and feel like you’re having sex with a metal ring. Conversely if it is too big then the wearer may struggle to get much contact with your willy and their mouth might actually be far too wide (assuming they can take the really wide gag in the first place).
As someone who is quite into gags, I find they are one area where the LH ones don’t quite hit the spot and I have found a couple of companies who are a bit more specialist and have a better range, or will even custom make gags to your exact requirements. The LH ones are great for starters and occasional use though.
I 100% agree with @Gareth . I think gags are great if it’s about humiliation, drool (plenty of that 
) or meaning moaning is about all that can be said. These three particularly with a ball gag. No ring gag, however, has worked for us for oral, anything that will fit in my mouth is way to small for anything bar his tip.
To be honest, tried a few (not a spider gag) but they’re not really for us.

I like the ideas of them but imagine it’d make me choke 
I guess I am a little different on this. I like the ball gags filled with holes that promote drooling yet still allow easy breathing.

I enjoy wearing a ball gag but it depends on the scenario and play. It twas also a case of trial and error to find the ball gag that worked for me. Too hard or too large was uncomfortable and left me with a painful jaw, and that was not fun. I have found the right size for me, with a ball with some give when I bite into it (you know, because sometimes you bite down) so I now get a kick out of wearing it when the play/scenario fits with using it.
I know Sir likes that it tends to result in me dribbling and looking messy, which in turns makes me feel good so BONUS! Ha ha.
I’ve never thought of using a gag either on my OH or on myself, but this has gotten me interested in it.
No ball gag will fit in my mouth as i cant open it very far so we have a silicone dog bone version
I have ball gags bit gags and ring gags. I love them but cant wear the ball or rings ones for very long
