It’s something that surfaces from time to time for me, and has recently been re-awakened a little thanks to this forum, but also, it tends to reappear in times of stress & busy life, perhaps as a relief / diversion from what is going on.
Around a decade a go or more I found myself in a position where I was working every now & then in an adult shop, filling in when someone had to have a night off. I was the webmaster for that company at the time. We had quite a selection of lingerie in store, and in the quiet hours I would admire some of them. Ended up buying a very nice chemise in black mesh, with some pink accents and underwire cups. It fitted me perfectly and the feeling of wearing it was quite amazing.
I was single at the time, and wore it to sleep in from time to time, and just around the house under a track suit. I think I recall having a matching thong and hold-up stockings as well.
I did a clear out of some of my items when I started dating my now wife thinking it was probably too much for me to feel comfortable in relating, so that set went out.
Recently though, and with some of the discussion in this thread (Men who like wearing lingerie I wanna hear from you) I’ve gone down a rabbit hole in regards to wearing a bra, and purchased a few already. I don’t necessarily need to see / look at myself in them, I just want to enjoy the feeing of wearing them. The first one I bought is the Lovehoney Flirty Underwired Plunge Bra which fits me really well and I love the feel of wearing it. Being a slightly padded bra, the cups fit me really well even though there would be plenty more room for someone in an A, B or C cup. I find the way the straps / bands feel around my chest and back really nice. I ordered the black one, but seen how much I enjoy it, I’ve ordered the red one in the same size.
I did order the matching Lace Flirty shorts to go with it, but they didn’t fit around the front. Explained more in the thread mentioned above.
I’ve also ordered a couple bras from elsewhere, including a made to order / for my measurements one (AA cup), and matching thong. It will be a while before that set arrives.
I’ll be taking some photo’s soon, and posting proper reviews of the LH items.
Strangely enough, I kind of feel a bit empowered wearing the bras. Not sure why.
I’ll just enjoy it though.
Mind you, after wearing one of the bras all day, I was heading to the pool to do a bit of swimming and didn’t think about the impression on my skin the bra straps would leave.
Thankfully I had a swimming top to wear or I might have gotten some funny looks.
