heavy breathing is always a good way to start, don't do anything you don't feel uncomfortable doing, a oh yeah that feels good is a good way to start, once you get into it who knows what noise ya might make!!

I don't think you're far off with the "Start with heavier breathing?" to be honest - that's what I did, plus a bit of extra moaning & grunting and that's all it seemed to take to drive Lexi wild... I'm still pretty awkward with the talking too, but I'm trying to work a bit of it in, and that seems to get a great reaction too, so will keep at it. Definitely give it a go if you haven't before... you might be surprised what it does to the OH!
The only noises I make are usually heavy breathing and breathy words. I find that if I make any actually noises that require the vocal cords, it feels like i'm loosing the energy. Like I am letting it all out by being loud instead of building it up in pleasure.
I have noticed that I have only ever made vocal noises in the past suring anal. I think being a passive partner allows you to just enjoy what is being done to you, instead of focusing on the doing.
I really love vocalization in others though. Not dirty talk as such, but moans and grunts are a real turn on.
The OH does a bit but not a lot. Neither of us make that much noise during sex or masturbation. A little more when the house is empty but never enough to be able to hear downstairs.

I think I'd find it a bit strange if DD started making some of the groaning an grunting noises I've heard in porn...maybe it's because the he's the only guy I'm interested in/have been with so his naturally quieter "style" is perfect in my eyes.
I think I'd much prefer someone who was quiet to someone who faked/forced noises....on women or men I find it cringeworthy!
Personally I vary...sometimes I'll scream like a wildcat at the point of orgasm other times I'll be absolutely silent...it doesn't seem to relate to how good it feels either...usually the "type" of sex. If we're having very slow, loving sex...screaming would be a bit weird. Whatever part of my brain is in charge of sex noise, it seems to know what's appropriate without me having to consciously think about it. That said, if we're sharing a house I sometimes have to smother myself with a pillow...but that's usually because DD is pleasurably torturing me to watch me struggle to keep quiet!
