Hey everyone, just wondered if anyone has any horror stories of people finding your sex toy collection?
We moved several months ago and even though we are in our mid 30s late 20s I could t believe the sheer panic as my parents were helping us unpack our boxes!
Also my mother once decided to clean the house as a kind of house warming present when we came back from our honeymoon and neatly put the handcuffs and blindfold we had left in the sheets on our bedroom drawers, we still haven’t spoken about it to this day.
When I was 18 I went on holiday with my Bf of the time. I still lived at home and had a surprise when i retuned home. My mother and my nan decided to tidy and rearrange my room. Fortunately I didn't have to much at that age some crotchless undies, cuffs, vibrator and other sexy bits and bobs. I opened the draw which i stored them in and not only did they see them they moved them into another chest of draws !!! It took me a while to find them as I wasn't going to ask ! I never mentioned it and neither did they thank god but inside I knew lol. My bf was mortified but now as an adult I find it kinda amusing although still would never ever mention it !
Yes, my mum has seen a fair amount of my collection. I was living at home with my mum before I moved in with my partner and because of various circumstances, I did not really have one big move day, instead I have moved things as and when I have needed them (we only have a one bed flat, so I am still storing some things at my mums). Most of the toys that we regularly use were already at my partners, but some of the older toys are still at my mums. Since moving out, I know she has cleaned my room and definitely found them. She has never mentioned it though.
My mum has found some of my lingerie collection, it just so happened to be the fetishy latex and leather stuff that has no cups and crotch! She couldn’t have found the pretty babydolls it had to be the kinkier stuff 😂

My mum died when i was 20 so its just me and him, i have pet hamsters and snakes in my bedroom, he just goes in whenever to play with them, one day i happened to be in the shower at the time and hadn't closed my toy drawer that i'd grabed a few bits from before i went in. There were also the boxes of 3 new toys sitting out on the side, which he mentioned!
Thrn when one ofthe snakes escaped, he tried to help look for it, at that point i wished i'd thrown out all my boxes with the pacakging still in them, i was trying to check them without him looking in them and seeing all this stuff!.
Another was my bad, i left the beaded glass dildo and the super smoothie vibe on the edge of the bath, i usually get dressed then come back for my toys, i forgot, he saw them.
I tried to pass them off as testers, instead of admitting i'd bought htem, so he started asking what i had that he could give his girlfriend since "they're not used, right?!" i just kept telling him no, but he did end up taking some stockings without asking, which annoyed me as i'd bought them!
He doesn't do it anymore, but he would randomly start asking me what i had and what he could take, very loudly, in the middle of Tescos!
I regularly have friends come over and find a giant but plug. Or dildo or fisting lubes and used latex gloves .all my friends know about my love for getting fisted . I quite like it

I used to have a small case that had a number of sex toys, lubes and sexy underwear inside. We were moving house and had enlisted the help of a couple of friends, my mum and my step dad.
Right at the beginning of the day my mum opened it and quickly zipped it back up but people had already noticed.

Yes it has happened, not to sure about sex toy but i know the kinkier toys have been found when i was younger and living with family. Not an actual toy itself but my daughter found an empty box and asked me what a triple tickler was 🙈

I said I wasn't sure as it was a friend's and not mine, she had just opened it here 😂

Years ago my friends came over to visit and their son wanted to see our cat (who was hid under the bed). He was less interested in the cat than he was the handcuffs hung on the bedpost (whoops!). I thought I'd got away with it until he mentioned it later at dinner, quite loudly, in a packed restaurant!
A few years ago a friend's house was raided by the police (anonymous, erroneous and very malicious 'tip off' about something that simply was not true) and they searched the house and found her toybox. Luckily she didn't have a policewomans outfit and/or truncheon but she was mortified as well as livid.
My mother decided to clean my room and found my huge vibrator collection... She decided to help by recycling some of the boxes that were empty and I only realised this after looking in the bin. She hasn't said anything to this day... THE SHAME!
I forgot I had left it out to dry after cleaning it....I just said it was a model sculpture of sorts...not sure if she figured out what it was or not but we never spoke about it after that!
Our daughter once found a bright purple rabbit in my bedside draw when she was about 5. Just told her it was an ornament we don't use. Lesson learnt all our toys are now in a lockable box!
Her son (early 30s) helped us move in and opened one box which had her toys on the top. He said "I don't think I want to know about those!" with a smile and went to another box.
