Think it depends on your anatomy, like if you have a larger head, once you are erect and roll down your skin it will stay like that until you lose your erection. But all penises are different...

Is it difficult to pull it back in the first place? In the past I had quite a right foreskin (I think the term it's Phimosis) and I found it never wanted to stay put! After taking the time to work on it (slowly stretching bit by bit) not only was it easier to pull back, but it started there too.

Do what some strippers do and use an elastic band, just tight enough to sit at the base and hold your foreskin back to allow full exposure of your head. Don't forget to take it off, and don't go to sleep with it on. :(

I think I've been lucky as when I'm fully erect it just grows straight through.
