I used to have a Hollywood wax regularly over the years but have not had one for a good while now. Having recently become single and in need of tidy up downstairs I'm wondering whether to go bare again or to leave a little landing strip. What's the views of the ladies out there and what they would prefer to see? I'll go with the majority vote!
Not keen on the bare look, I'm happy with trimmed pubic hair on men, it's more manly. Like I love a hairy chest.

I prefer it natural on both men and women. But then I'm ancient enough I came of age before humans lost the ability to cope with pubic hair.
I am also have a trimmed look.... I like my men, masculine and prefer them furry
We shave OHs on number 4 and mine on number 2. He doesn't like it too short or bald but I don't like it long so we compromise
Not bald :::: it end up looking like a plucked chicken my opinion: just nice and neatly trimmed
To be totally honest, and I hope no one takes offence here because it's really not meant that way, but I think it's a generation thing. Like in the 60's it was popular to be natural down there, where as now I beliebe it's more popular to have as little hair as possible, either a landing strip or bare. If you look to 10 years ago waxing salons did legs, eyebrows and bikini lines, whereas now alonodt every waxing salon offers brazillian or hollywood. If I speak to older people than me, who are in their mid-thirties they tend to have a trim, whereas anyone my age either has a hollywood or brazillian. I personally prefer a hollywood, and my husband shaves totally bare down there because I really don't like public hair at all. But it's totally a personal preference, just do what you feel comfortable with :)
I understand where youre coming from with it being a generational thing and would largely agree, though I also think there is a lot to be said about male confidence and also a male's attitude to being 'male'.
For women, there appears to be a masive consensus nowadays to make the efforts to be trimmed or shaven/waxed etc and no doubt the freely available pornography has gone a long way to nurutre this attitude. Whether is it born from a males expectation of how they like a woman to be, or a females expectaton of how they would like to be is another matter.
For men however I think there is a lot of catching up to do be done ( and no I'm not saying men being hairy is archaic).
I have a lot of friends from different walks of life who have different attitudes towards all of this.
Me personally, I get a male brazilian wax done and trim the rest of my body hair becasue this is houw I like it to be. The amount of body hair on me does not define my masculinity for me. This is my personal preference of how I want my body to look and take steps to achieve that.
I have friends however who think it is hilarious that I take these steps and have this stigma that it is not 'manly' etc. It is laughed about, joked about and then forgotten.
I also have a lot of naturist friends who are very much a mixed camp with this. Not that I have done an inspection, but it is clear to see that the guys and girls of similar ages to me have all sorts going on down there from smooth to untouched.
Moving on from my age group and generation, you also see men and women of all ages (at naturusit places) again with varying results down there - and everywhere else on their bodies.
SO go with what youre comfortable with - and remember shaving or waxing is not permanent and the hair will grow back. Have fun with it, experiment, let it grow back and try again.

Bald for me, little landing strip/triangle on the mrs

Do you think thats an age thing too? Or dependant on if you have children?
myself and my husband dont have any kids, or neices or any young female relatives. neither of us have ever seen a child naked (with the exception of when we were children ourselves and seen siblings which is different) so we dont associate the bare look with being child like.
obviously if you have kids/neices/very younger sisters you probably would associate the two. Ive only ever associated being bare with how i prefer to be, or i suppose porn stars so to me its a sexual thing.
I always go completely bare - I don't really have a preference on the way it looks, but I far prefer the way it feels. I'm always amused when people tell me that the bald style makes women look little girls. Pubic hair or no pubic hair, I'm a grown woman and it's pretty evident, lol.
I like my partners, men and women alike, to keep things neat and tidy, purely because I find a wilder bush makes it a bit messier when I go down on them. Whether that's achieved through some basic trimming or shaving, whether they go with basic maintenance, or go with a particular shape, or take it all off altogether? I really don't mind. It's all up to them as far as I'm concerned.
Im neat and tidy number 3 with shaved balls, OH is bald she really doesnt like hair, I have friends that are male who are either natural or bald think it really is personal thing
