Hi! I’ve been in a relationship with my current boyfriend for about 4 years since college!
For a while now, I have dreams where I’m having sex with other people than my boyfriend! These include his close friends and older men! I really can’t say I hate them because they feel crazy good compared to sex I have with my boyfriend, but there is so much guilt in even remembering those dreams.
I was wondering if anyone else has these dreams as well, a little more often than you would like. What do you make of it? Or maybe you don’t think anything of it since it’s not conscious?
Dreaming about people you know and wild sex with them is just fantasy and is a sign of a healthy sexual libido the guilt is natural and a balance to that. The issue I see is if you want to act upon those dreams and you are in a monogamous relationship there’s the line you don’t cross.
So if it’s just dreams then it’s just dreams, see if you can stop them?!?!?! I don’t think anyone including you can stop the subconscious from doing what it wants.
If it’s more, you need to have some honest conversations with your other half.
Usually dreams like that are hinting towards you craving an adrenaline rush and something wild from the normal routines of life.
I’d say it’s totally natural to have sex dreams of other people as it’s our subconscious piecing together things we’ve seen and then throwing in some inner desires, not necessarily of that person,.
I once randomly had a sex dream of Homer Simpson and woke up feeling repulsed afterwards haha
I used to occasionally have hot dreams about my FBF, almost every time they’d end up wet dreams!! I did tell her, as we tell each other everything, and she said always made her feel a little uncomfortable that she knew I was dreaming about fucker her despite me saying they were out of my control.
Ironically, due to circumstances, my FBF is now my FB so I’m fucking her for real!!
I have had dreams of people I know , however the part that drives me nuts is that no dream has ever ended in penetrative sex . Usually caressing and fondling and often the beginnings of masterbation . I am advanced in years and my brain’s file cabinets will find random people from my past and mix with the present . Often I wonder how in the hell my brain assembled a dream . As long as a person can enjoy the dream and leave it at that , no worries . If you have a deep desire to move beyond the dream , all bets are off .
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with fantasies involving other guys. My boyfriend knows I masturbate over other men and it’s fine because it’s just a fantasy!
