Im not paticularly proud of this story. I met ben on tinder. Id been single for 2 years after an abusive 14 year relationship.
I swore I didnt want another relationship so I was just meeting strangers for sex and I was getting plenty. Ben was ment to be just another shag or fwb and lived close by. I was very honest with him as I was with all of them. I met him one morning and we went to his and had sex. The sex was ok. Not great but not terrible. We chatted before and after and we got on really well. We arranged to do it again at the weekend.
The day before our next meet, he called it off. Saying he wanted something serious and was too old for fuck buddies. I opened up to him and explained why I couldn’t do serious. (Abusive ex, shattered confidence and 2 fairly young kids). A few days later he messaged out of the blue asking if I was free and I was. He said he was horny and changed his mind about a fuck buddy. I went strait over and was very horny by the time I got there. I went in and he had ordered pizza and had a film ready to go.
We talked for hours then had amazing sex all night. He was so nice to me. Kind and caring and was interested in me and my life. I was hooked! It still took me a month of great sex and him nagging me for me to believe that I could have a relationship again. I just could not get him out of my head. I had become such a mess with little self esteem and no confidence. Sex was the only thing I felt good at. Ben changed my life and 4 years later we all live together, happily ever after haha.

I was in the market for a new cellphone and they worked at the store where I bought it. The helped me get everything all set up and when I left I noticed a new phone number in my contacts list. The rest is history.

Hi, we met in a pub, a lady that was at college with me was with her in a pub that I regularly use to visit (45 years ago) we went out and 5 years later married. 40 years later we are still together.

I am sorry to hear about your 14 years abusive relationship. It sounds like you have found a good person now and hopefully your confidence is building. Sex is important in a relationship but I think being equal, friendship and caring is so important as well. Good luck.
While I’m not with anyone I’m adding two people as they were both very important in my life.
First was a friends sister it was a very hidden relationship for a long time, everything was done secretly in a covert way,that actually add more lust and fun, she became more than just someone I dated.
Second I met in a night club, She was trying to get me to smile as she noticed I looked unhappy and sad, this was true as I was still upset over the ending of the First person, and she did make me laugh and smile that night, I started chasing her after that one night in the club.

Met overseas in a bar one night. Got talking and swapped names and numbers. Back home a few months later I had a list of people to catch up with. She was the first one I rang and caught up with. Was also the last ( and only ) one and 40 years later still happily married and enjoying retirement !

Not many people know this but I met my partner in a swingers club.
I had been going to a local swingers club after a long term relationship came to an end. At that moment I did not want to get into another relationship and my plan was to stay single but have fun along the way.
That all changed the night she walked in. It was her first time trying the club and came with her friend who had experience.
My first thought is they where a couple but a few glances across the room and some Dutch courage I approached her and hit it straight off.
We are now a couple and I have no regrets.

I met my OH when we were in High School I was 13 and she 12, this year will be the 50th anniversary of our meeting and our 45th wedding anniversary after marrying at 18. I love her with every part of my being and she’s always been my soul mate

After splitting from my ex wife of 30 years a friend suggested POF. I meet my current partner (fiancée) for a coffee, which turned into a meal out and that was 11 years ago.
