Do you mean dates and a potential partner or just hookups? If you just want hookups keep in mind every woman on there is probably getting a lot of similar messages and has her pick.

This topic, Dating sites, was started yesterday and has useful tips if you’re looking for something a bit more.

Tinder isn’t a forum, it’s a dating app. The question is similar to other recent threads asking about dating/‘hookups’… so I’m not sure why the comment “this isn’t that type of forum” was made? The OP isn’t asking for hookups on here - he is literally asking for advice.

Hey @raymond.bruce56. I would agree with @Peitho comment above in having a look through that other thread. Even if you are just looking for a ‘hookup’ you still need to be respectful and show there is something you like about the other person that made you swipe - for me this shows someone has taken the time and effort rather than just copy and paste “hey” into every chat.

I’d also make sure that your profile actually has photos of you, that they’re clear and from different angles so people can see what they’re swiping to.

You will always get people who don’t respond though - some people have a week on there, go crazy with the swiping and then disappear but keep their profile active. Other people may just not be interested. Try not to take it personally - everyone is looking for their own thing. Good luck :blush:

Surely Tinder has the information? It just seems odd that someone joins THIS forum just to ask that specific question at the weekend when there’s only us to moderate? :thinking:

Hey welcome to the forum! Alas tinder I’d say isn’t a great app for communicating as many just use it like a card swipe thing. Have you considered trying out ‘plenty of fish’ as might get better outcome
