Can’t seem to get the text size right. (Up to date Android). Whatever I do, some text us too large and some too small on the same screen, and most of the vertical spacing is too great.
Some things can’t be enlarged however you set the text, and things overlap (as demoed above). Pretty awful as far as I’m concerned, just looks a mess.
Oh, and the post numbers don’t fit in the box and have an unreadable font.

@KinkyMira Have you changed the text size in the Forum settings? It helps a bit.
Pretty stupid to set up a new forum look on a Friday.

@teacake Yes, I tried that, didn’t do much.
Isn’t much better on a PC. Things overlapping and weird gaps down the side. Font sizes seem to be less of an issue on a PC.
It is also a lot slower than it used to be. My tablet isn’t very powerful and the website keeps hanging as I try to type a reply.

looks good but on PC using Mozilla browser the Suggest / related at the bottom of the thread is superimposed over the threads see screenshot

worked first time on Kindle Fire Tablet. no adjusts required.
I think we can all agree that this new display does not look good at all and it seems no testing had been done.
@KinkyMira One thing though I’m not having any performance issues on my 8 year old Tablet it’s not a powerful Tablet either, This is what I use all the time when using LH and the Forum, so I would notice any performance issues.

Yes it’s awful. I am surprised that unfamiliar names who don’t seem to participate regularly if at all, are saying they like the changes, maybe Lovehoney should take note of the regular participants opinions?
I dread to think of the monetary cost of these changes that are not an improvement.

I think it is OK speed-wise this morning, so maybe, it was just a glitch. My tablet was fine on everything else at the time I made the comment though.
Can post other pictures of the mess if @Lovehoney_Brenna wants them. Didn’t want to just spam the thread with them.

I do think there are some issues with the new look site but hopefully the comments will be taken on board and amendments made very quickly. I was surprised the amendments were done on a Friday. I think the font is too small as well.

After trying this for a few days I’m not a fan of it. Some of the font is tiny and I simply don’t like the way it looks on my phone.
I do however like the purple but frankly I can’t see what was wrong with it all before.

I so much prefer the old layout, please put it back to what it was before.

Some of the text spacing is wrong - too wide.
I’ve come to the conclusion that I agree with @Dirty-Wife and ask that you please just put it back the way it was, as it was just fine the way it was, and didn’t need any work doing.

The section overlap where the “Suggested” header isn’t moving inline with the suggestions seems to be happening on most pages, even this one you created for this feedback.

Thank you for all your feedback. We are making a list of all the glitches and styling complaints to look at improving.
I’ve noticed a lot of you aren’t happy that we have chosen to change things around, the old “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. Well, it was broke. Our old theme was heavily, heavily customised. Meaning every time a platform update came, our theme got just a little bit more wonky (I’m sure you have noticed some of this over the years). A big update meant we had a choice to make, keep chasing our tails and looking for any newly wonky parts, or scale back the styling and have more consistency. We’ve opted for the second – and are hopeful that the new theme will be much easier to maintain.
We are aware that the theme isn’t 100% there yet, but we aren’t shutting the book and calling this project done. We will still be working towards getting the forum as close to perfect as we can, so please keep sharing screenshots and opinions here!

Hi @Lovehoney_Brenna I fully understand what you mean about trying to have more consistency. I was heavily involved with websites and it always became a problem when system updates came around when we had none consistence adaptions. I know you will get things right. Best of luck.

Sounds a sensible strategy @Lovehoney_Brenna. It would have been good to have that explanation before anything was done. Expectation management and all that.
If you want screenshots, just ask, although I suspect you have enough to be looking at for now.
