I used to work in a call centre for a bank - dealing with our triple A customers. Thats the Angry Agressive and Anxious brigade no one else wanted to deal with. Officially we were meant to be dealing with customer complaints.
At the moment I am taking over the family business, retail mostly online but some face to face events. Not saying what we sell as could ID me :) just that it is mainly big boys little toys!

I have a job as a cleaner in a pub, not happy with it and trying to decide if I should quit or not. not happy in work which means i'm not happy at home.
What does everyone think?
SHOULD I QUIT OR NOT?
Unless you have another job lined up or can survive without your wage, I'd say don't quit. Take it from someone who's been unemployed for months - the job market is a bugger at the moment.

What are you going to do instead? Can you afford to live without a job?
My real job btw is computer engineer
I was a full time parent, child is 15 now, my husband works and we have survived without 2 wages all the time child was growing up.

Ok well if you can survive without the extra money then I'd say quit. It's not worth staying in a job you hate unless you really have to. Especially if it's impacting on your home life.
As a serial quitter of jobs only do it if you can afford it or have another job to go to. Its 10 times easier getting a job when you already have one.
i waitress/barwork at aintree, haydock and carlisle racecourse throughout the year. not really that much work though : (. looking for a proper job now until uni

I am a process technician...... I help make death rays (ahem.. lasers....well grow thin semiconductor layers for lasers really) a really interesting and rewarding job but it fraustrates the hell of me being at the bottom when I have shown that i clearly have the ability and knowledge to learn and learn well. Annoys me even more when one of the engineers (the position above me and a huge pay rise) just throws it away and doesnt seem to care or do things properly.... sorry rant over
