Not a fan, as ‘be3169’ above says, they’re a bit limiting and only really good for a couple of positions.
We prefer the wrist to thigh restraints. They’re quite versatile and a spreader bar changes them again.

Just about the only thing we’ve achieved with my OH hogtied is oral with her on the bed on her front, with me standing next to the bed. It’s fairly limiting though as, by definition, she can’t use her hands.
We did once just about manage the cowgirl position too.

I enjoy using hogties to keep her restrained face down on the bed. I usually have her at the foot of the bed, close to the edge, so that I have good access with various toys, in particular anal toys. It’s a great probing position and then I can also stand between her legs and take her while she can’t do anything about it.
The last time I had her hogtied I also combined it with a body harness and bed restraints, strapping her down to the bed so she could hardly move at all. Great for keeping her thighs spread and open access for me to play.
