Another thing we’re curious about is how do you guys prepare the body before and/or after sex? We’re also looking for positive hygiene before we get into business. We’d love to hear your input on this advice, which will help out a ton.

I don’t worry about before, I wash twice a day and I’d shower before if I’d done anything that messy.
After: i keep a packet of adult water wipes on my bedside, they don’t replace a shower but they can help freshen you up until you can gave one. Lovehoney’s foaming body and sex toy cleaner is another favourite alternative

We don’t usually worry about before because we showers right after if it’s morning sex and if it’s during the afternoon or evening, we just will wipe up a little, then there are time where we will just go at it without freshing up because we know that we have showered that morning. Now after, she will sometimes wipe up if she goes to the bathroom to pee and sometimes she doesn’t. We both love the smell our sex scent on each other.

Unscented baby wipes are my best friend. I shower twice a day so I am clean but wipes make clean up easy and freshening up easy. Having a clean dry towel on hand is good for clean up afterwards too.

Nothing special on our end (or ends, lol) in most circumstances. We both start our day with a workout of some sort and then shower. Most of the time that sets us up for being pretty unobjectionable by end of day when we’re getting it on at bedtime - I don’t know that either of us has ever gone down on the other and called it off for hygiene/odor reasons. If one of us has had an upset stomach or extra gassy we’re more inclined to preemptively say, “hey, probably don’t want to go down on me tonight” but if we’re prepping for a longer afternoon romp and anal, 69, or rimming is on the table we might just run a warm, wet washcloth between our cheeks to tidy everything up. Usually take a good swig of mouthwash before a midday romp, too.
After, most nights, is really just a bathroom trip for both of us, normally. When she’s on her period we have a few lovely red washcloths that come out for us both to clean up with after during that week. If we’ve had an extended romp with anal play for either of us we usually hop in the shower for a quick rinse and scrub of the cock and bum. The mess is usually more an account of the coconut oil lubed up, but it is nice to have my penis all cleaned up after, too.
One of my favorite things to NOT clean up is that I intentionally avoid washing my face to thoroughly after going down on my wife. Quick splash of water, but that’s it. As for clean up it depends, I love morning sex so we usually jump in the shower for work anyway. We’ve always got wipes and tissues bedside for cleanup too but may shower if we felt the need.
Toy cleaning we have wipes but for glass and metal I’ll usually give them a proper wash later. We have specific toys for anal but on me I also feel better if we use a condom for less embarrassing clean up, for her I don’t care dealing with any issues.
