I have had various experiences and it is very much dependent on the woman as every body is different.
There are actually two different aspects imo. One is the length that allows you to go deeper than a regular-sized penis and reach certain areas and spots deep inside the vagina, the other one is girth, because an 8+ inches penis usually also has a much larger circumference.

Get an 8 or 10 inch hollow strap on for yourself and give her every inch well lubed and slowly at first building up to the pace she can take.
