Was just thinking about how long I’m with my husband and its 21 years since I first kissed him when I was 16 years old. Broke up for 2 years and then back together and standing solid with kids all these years later.

Hi @Sunshine3 . Been with my wife 18 years, married for 16 years
She’s absolutely the love of my life - 2nd marriage for me (the first was an absolute nightmare for me even though I was married to her for nearly 25 years - should have left her after 25 minutes!!) and 3rd for my wife.
Her 2nd ex (and father of her 2 daughters) is a nice bloke and we get on well socially which is great as we see him and his partner for drinks now and again.
I can’t imagine being with anyone else - she is truly the light of my life and the most wonderful, warm, sexy and gorgeous woman I could ever wish to meet.
To say I’m punching above my weight is the biggest understatement ever!!
She’s had a lot to put up with as I’ve had a very scary brush with death due to cancer and my son from my first marriage spent quite a time in hospital with a brain injury that nearly cost him his life (both happened at the same time) so she’s been through the wringer with me but she’s been a pillar of strength and I love her so very much.

14 years, married 10 this summer. Best decision I ever made was realising I was comparing other men to him and therefore deciding I wanted him. Little did I know he wanted me all the time, right from when he first met me and I was with other men.

Yes, but sadly my wife has Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s so she is rapidly losing all her memories of our life together.

Been married for 40 years this year and been together about 45 years. I’m sure medals get awarded for less. She certainly deserves one.

Never actually got married, but have considered a civil partnership for legal purposes.
