Just wondering how long it take to become a lovehoney tester if anyone is apart of the program? Also I’m not 100% but do love honey do some sort of wish list where you can send saved items to someone to buy discreetly without giving any personal details
No, once ypu have active reviews its luck of the draw / or however your selected. Just keep trying and upu msy be successful
To slightly disagree with @Craig1234 , no, it is not just luck of the draw. Firstly, to be elligible you have to have at least 8 well written, informative reviews that are helpful to potential purchasers in making the desision of whether a product is suitable for them or not. These do not have to be glowing reviews, negative ones can be just as helpful. Maybe something you hate would be a plus for someone else.
Next, once you have 8 qualifying reviews, if you’ve not been a tester before, your first item is going to be a regular tester item not a secret one so that puts you out of the running for some until you are an established tester.
Finally, Brenna takes time and care to place producs with people she thinks will like them. If you’ve only reviewed lubes and essentials, you might well get selected for something similar but you’re unlikely to get a toy. If you’ve only reviewed non electric dildos, you’re unlikely to get a suction toy. The more reviews you’ve written the better an idea she has of what you like and what products would be a good fit for you.
To answer the second part of your question, Lovehoney used to have this feature and it was great. There was a whole gifting topic somewhere where people used to send other forum members things from their public wishlist or just totally random stuff. Unfortunately, this was discontinued. This is unfortunate as I’m sure it would be a good earner for Lovehoney for people with Only Fans sites and the like but c’est la vie.
The alternative is to create an Amazon Wishlist with item from Lovehoney’s Amazon store. It’s not the full range available directly from this site but I think is the only workaround for gifts to be sent without knowing the recipient’s address.
In addition to what @Peitho has said, you need to bear in mind that there are a lot more willing testers than products available so even if you have done everything you can, you still need to have patience ![]()
(@Peitho I just edited to remove an extra ‘ing’
)
You could have added an ‘s’ to “item”, in the last paragraph, to make it correct as well ![]()
![]()
But yes, good point on the numbers and need for patience too.
I’d also say maybe only go for the things that really interest you, rather than just because it’s free. You may notice I don’t vote on anal toys, I have IBS which seems to have the most violent reaction to anal toys/play/sex, so it’s just not (kinda not) worth it for me - unless I’m feeling really masochistic ![]()
@Peitho thankyou for reminding me I have a review to write. I wrote a blog post review for my latest Lovehoney purchase but completely forgot to write one on Lovehoney itself!
