How many of you are shopping on Love Honey through Quidco

Not spamming or ought here, but just to let people know that the best way to shop on LH is via Quidco. This is a massive site, endorsed by thousands of companies including LH.

When you buy on LH through Quidco you are entitled to cashback. At the moment thats 16%. Its not dodgy, its real and great for lots of other things too, like savings on CDs, DVDs, Supermarkets at all the major retailers.

Happy to answer any questions about it, but just thought I'd let people know because I've just received £13.00 back from LH in last couple of months and you get your Oh Points as well.

No it's not.
Topcashback doesn't steal any money from you but is the same. :P
Good shout though.

They both pretty much the same thing. I use both of them, just find Quidco pays more on LH

oh my i forgot about that site is lh on there then?

It is indeed. LH is on Quidco and TopCashBack. My OH always reminds me to use Quidco and just buying something that was £15.00 from LH, I got £3.15 back !!!

So now I'm buying and buying and buying and collectiong more points

Noooooooo - I've bought loads over the last few months and didn't know anything about this!

From now on you know where to go. If you need any help LittleKitty, let me know.

I know how skint everyone is after Crimbo, so saving money is great, especially when we are buying stuff from here lol

I don't get it. How can this be a valid buisness idea?

I guess i'm cynical, but there must be some sort of catch. What do they get out of it? Spondership?

Just read the terms and conditions.

Dam, I wish i'd known about this sooner. Could have saved a bomb.

Fair enough. I'm not sure on the rates but I prefer the whole not robbing me of a fiver on Topcashback. I think there are better free bits on TCB too.

Quidco owe me money dating back from 1st August last year and some of the purchases are still "pending". If I get all that I should in the next year I will get £50 cash back (£35 for my phones4u latest contract) But still that never tracked properly and I had to report it like every other purchase.

Cashback sites are great if you are skint or tight with the cash, but if you use discount vouchers at the site eg LH's 10% off (which is not on at the moment :( ), the cashback may not apply. I only use Quidco when LH is not offering the instant 10% cash back.

Me! Have been using Quidco since October, But I set it up so I don't get any cash back for about 24 months if I remember rightly?!

what exactly is Quidco and how would you get money back sounds like a good idea but how does it work?

Great point.

REMEMBER peeps. Cashback is not a definite.

Here's a decent guide:

Quidco claim to pay out 100% to the users and charge £5 a year... if enough LH members join maybe we can get them paying out 21% cashback External Media. Bet they do reach over £500 in a month and just give keep the 5% bonus.

    • Generous 16% commission for accumulative sales under £500

    • Rising to 21% for sales over £500

ok... maybe this is going off the spirit of the LH forum and more into "money saving expert"'s domain. At the end of the day if everyone uses sites like Quidco, the prices will just go up so they can afford the payout.

I have paid on resultsaffiate scheme set up for my blog and twitter, and some money is due from it for me, so i will see when its due to come in

i had 110 pounds in my quidco account due to a loop i found, they have paid 20 into my bank so far the rest is being tracked etc, it all depends on the speed of the company and how fast it takes them to tell quidco, if youve clicked on this or brought that etc :)

Thanks for the reminder!!! I checked Top CashBack and had just under £15 to cash out ( £15 due at the end of january and febuary as well) woohoo. This is all because I clicked through them when buying most of my christmas presents, its well worth giving it a go even if you only use it a couple of times.

I've had about £600 back from my time with Quidco. :) PLaces like that are good when renewing insurance, phones, etc...

Same, I've done really well out of Quidco and saved a lot of money on things I would have bought anyway. The £5 a year fee is nothing really if you do a lot of online shopping.

I've never had a problem with them paying out either (Touch wood...).
