Go account and near bottom it says “delete account”
Could have asked on there though lol

Click on account, scroll down towards the bottom, a box says delete account. Click and follow instructions…

I think pretty easy. I’ve deleted my profile and I don’t remember it being a hassle!

Off the top of my head, I unfortunately can’t talk you through how to do it

Just follow the instructions in the FAQ. All you need to do is enter your password and it’s gone forever.

Unfortunately, someone I was speaking with on there turned out to be a customer at work. Just to be on the safe side, I just deleted my whole account. I was on the brink of taking a break from it anyways.

Overall though, I had some really good meets on there and stayed friends with quite a few. I won’t lie and say it was easy though. My first meet became obsessive and a bit verbally annoying so they got blocked on everything.

It does take time to find the right person/persons so don’t give up too easily!

I am worried about potentially coming across someone I know so haven’t signed up, its the main thing that puts me off as everyone seems to end up knowing everyone’s business where I live :roll_eyes: was it all local to you?

Personally I deleted my account on fab for several reasons

  • How normalized the biphobia/homophobia in several of the accounts in my area were
  • 90% of accounts are just looking for a young single girl
  • Boundaries are never respected and people you explicitly say in your profile that you aren’t looking for still try their shot and send inappropriate pictures
  • There’s just not enough people on the app in large portions of the country
  • Very cliquey
  • Too many features are paywalled
  • The vast majority of people my age can’t drive or can’t host, myself included, so whatever limited swinging you can get doesn’t end up suiting
  • Many abusive and predatory members

That’s a common reason people use for never going to a swingers club.

But look at it this way. If you bumped into someone in a club that you knew (or even on the fab website) are they really going to go round telling people “guess who I bumped into at the swingers club/on that swinging website” ?

They’d be outing themselves at the same time.

And 99% of people are never going to do that.

The key to operating an online profile is discretion and maintaining a decent level of anonymity. Don’t use public face photos or any that show identifiable marks such as tattoos. If you’re posting any risqué shots make sure your face isn’t in them. Don’t give out personal info such as addresses- always agree to meet for a social somewhere public first. Get a cheap PAYG sim card so you don’t have to use your normal mobile. There are easy ways to enjoy the site and the lifestyle without identifying who you are to all and sundry.

I was once outed at work years ago by someone (never found out who) but even though several people saw my profile most didn’t believe it was me and I just denied it. Because I didn’t walk around work naked nobody actually knew what I looked like without clothes so it was easy to maintain plausible deniability.

Never had any of these issues. No bi or homophobia quite the reverse if anything. I’ve hooked up with some cool and genuine people. No reason to want to delete. A lot of people who do sign back up

Very good points. Is it weird that I’d prefer to go to a club rather than online… I guess at least you know what you’re dealing with then.

I would never put my face in pictures for anyone other than the OH definite no no :joy: haha.
Maybe we’ll try and venture a bit further afield just to reduce the risk of bumping into anyone :woman_facepalming:t2: plus, don’t even think we have one near us anyway
