How to shave your vagina without all the bumps and itches?

pretty much what the title says

Best advice I could give on this would be:

Shave in the direction of hair growth, not against it.
Use a good post shave balm
Get a small razor, preferably one designed for intimate areas, it’s a lot easier than one of the big ones designed for legs!

Personally I’ve given up shaving due to irritation and sensitive skin. I now have an intimate trimmer with a guard. I’ll see if I can find one on LH to share, if not you can get one in most supermarkets.

From a former terrible razor bump sufferer, invest in a good post shave balm. I love/use WooWoo Saddle Sore! Post shave/anti chafing cream, it contains rose hip oil and it smells lovely

Also if you’re using a wet razor, replace your blades often and use one with a moisturising strip.

Oh, that one’s good! And smells lovely. I haven’t tried it as a post shaving balm though, might give that a go after trimming next time.

I used to suffer terrible razor burn on my face, but i found a good shave GEL, like King of Shaves (not a foaming gel aerosol) and a good brand 5 blade razor cured it.
Also don’t be afraid to buy men’s razors and shave gel, they’re cheaper and still designed to shave bodily contours, Face or fanny!

@Lava1 Mostly agree with all of the above: Shave gel, men’s razors, post shave gel but I would also moisturise the day after too to keep the skin soft. You are essentially scraping your skin and irritation and moisture loss sometimes occurs! :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m with @WillC in that shave gel gives a smoother finish, and less post shave bumps than foam.

I moisturize religiously each day which I think helps too.

I don’t have a vulva but I do shave my pubic areas regularly
First point is to be sure everything is freshly washed and clean before you shave
This is a key point for even guys shaving their beards which is overlooked
Helps reduce a lot of bumps and irritation post shave
The washing also softens the hairs apparently
Then use a shave gel or soap to lubricate I sometimes use my wife’s shaving gel she uses for her legs etc
I also use a wet razor with a lubricant strip
I have a landing strip but pre trimming the stubble either side around my public area with. Ceramic bladed shaver before wet shaving I think also helps
Hope you have a bump free and smooth future

@WillC I’d be reluctant to use some of the King of Shaves products in the pubic area especially around a vulva as they sometimes contain some quite astringent ingredients

I use the sensitive gel with no problems, my face is very sensitive, and have used it elsewhere in the past. Nothing astringent about it or i wouldn’t have recommended it.

@WillC ok makes sense
I only used a couple of their shaving oils so they were obviously different products

No this is shave gel not oil or foam or foaming gel. Totally safe and no razor burn or irritation.

I massively struggled with shaving and bit the bullet and got waxed. So much better for me!

Yesterday I was trimming my landing strip after a shave of my cock n balls

After checking in the mirror I’d trimmed crooked and cut most of the landing strip off

Ended up shaving off everything completely smooth

I’m so turned on by being so exposed now but not sure if I prefer the look yet

Looking forward to seeing how my pictures when I wear my lingerie look
