How to wash strap on harness?

Hi all!

First time poster and second time shopper!

Can anybody please tell me how to clean this strap on harness?

Is it wipe clean only, hand wash only or can I stick it in a tied up pillow case and put it in the machine?

Is the stiff material inside made of card or plastic? I’m guessing it will be wipe clean only if it’s made card but suitable for hand-wash/machine was if made of plastic.

Thanks all!

If in doubt I would clean with sex toy wipes.

Have no experience of this particular harness, but if it didn’t come with specific cleaning instructions I would go either wipes or hand wash on a low temperature.

A quick dunk in warm water with anti bac hand wash then immediately dry off probably fine

I just hand wash in a bit of warm water and soap - then just dry on the radiator while the kids are away
As for the penis aspect - I use baby wipes :stockings:

Thank you all for your replies! I think I’ll try washing in warm water + soap and leaving out to dry.

I just realised that the pelvic base bit isn’t actually hard with card or plastic in it (I suppose I wouldn’t know seeing as I’m not the one wearing it :joy:)

So I may, may try putting it in a pillowcase and sticking it in the machine. I’ll see how brave I feel in the morning!

Thanks again for all your replies!

Leaving it out to dry? What like on the washing line? :flushed::joy:
@panpoly welcome to the forum by the way

It’ll have to dry somewhere if wet from washing.

I would still advise against washing in the washing machine

Sorry, I forgot to reply and update with how it went!

We did the pillowcase in the machine in the end. To be honest, it was fine. I guess it was cushioned by everything else in the machine. The holes where the straps go aren’t sewn down so they feel a bit looser.

I think I’d try it again but maybe on the “hand-wash” setting next time. It’s the only thing that would go in on that setting though and I never like doing a basically empty wash

Cheers for all of your replies though and to everyone that replied after I took the leap of faith!

@SteelA1 haha, nah on the clothes horse with a dehumidifier. We live in a flat thankfully so I am not even tempted to “air my dirty laundry for all to see” :joy:

And thank you very much! Nice to be welcomed!

@Himeros1 thank you for the detailed reply, very much appreciated!
