I did a search for discussions for “humbler” on these message boards looking for something specific but only turned up 3 discussions and a bunch that mentioned it in passing based on BDsm or CBT type discussions.
For those that don’t know what this is, the most basic way to explain would be two wooden rulers. Place one on the top of the scrotum above the tesicles and the other below the scrotum in the same place above the testicles. Clamp both ends of the rulers together. Doubling up an elastic band will do for this example. Now take the twin rulers and turn them a bit to fit them between your legs while you are crouching down. Once both sides of the twin rulers are against the back of your thighs you now have a basic humbler. Try standing up straight without adjusting the placement of the two rulers. Gotcha!
Commercial versions can vary greatly with different contours or even adjustable tension on the scrotum for different amounts of submission. Always fun depending on your body type and interests.
If you play with the commercial versions that are contoured and screw down for tightness the next step is add either thigh or leg cuffs to each end of the humbler. If you have a humbler with ankle cuffs on each end you are totally restricted to remaining in the position to be pegged, spanked, foot worship, or cunninglus. A basic humbler you can easily free yourself from but a humbler with restraints is the full submission deal.
One of the posts I read referred to a wall mounted humbler (I wish I could find it again for reference) that is not quite correct. What they were referring to is essentially a metal donut ring ball stretcher mounted to a rod with a T flange for mounting on a wall. It essentially grabs you by the balls and holds you there. We saw it years ago and my wife always teased that she would get one to mount in front of the kitchen sink or near the laundry machines. I could see this as an awesome option if you have a stable and want to keep the studs lined up along the side wall.
For the vanilla folks, if you need a stable explained let me know. BDsm folks will understand exactly what I mean. Always a fantasy for me but will never happen.

I have a commercially produced Humbler which I wear occasionally.
It does the job perfectly and keeps me in a submissive position for whatever activities my wife chooses.
The only drawback is that the edges of the cutaway area where the scrotum is trapped are not well finished and I have had to round them off and smooth them. Having said that it was at the cheap end of the price range.
I’ve got the humbler with the anke cuffs, and we greatly enjoy it when it comes out to play. The thing you’re describing is the stainless steel, floor-mounted scrotum cuff, which is definitely on the wishlist for me! Yes, you CAN mount them on the wall if you desire, however you would need a very good sense of balance because if you don’t, you would definitely lose more than your balance!
Several folks posted “no way! Not doing that.” type posts to this discussion which is fine but it reminded me of one other point I did not include in my earlier post. If you do a google image search of BDSM humbler you will find pages upon pages of commercial designs. The point I want to add is that the more straight they are, the more they pull and/or limit standing up straight. The ones with big curves are pretty tame to tolerate. That does not include the few that are adjustable in stretch.
Mine is curved but I wouldn’t ever describe it as tame.

The bought one had an area a bit too but for the balls so it wasn’t a brilliant wear if I’m honest. The less pretty one that I built myself was amazing however, such a custom and wonderful fit! (To the extent of being properly humbled and unable to stand)
@Sexterminator - I was looking at these yesterday - it’s a metal hoop that fits around the top of the sack and has 2 chains attached that pull through the legs from behind and the chains attach to ankle cuffs
It looks very nice - but can I ask do you enjoy it and does it still allow you to be pegged (or use anal toys)

Most of them are a wooden or plastic beams which trap the testicles and pulls them through between your legs then they jam across the back of your thighs keeping your testicles stretched backwards.
They are not comfortable (that’s the point really) but they are bearable unless you try to stand up.
They basically keep you on your knees and make you crawl around.

@batjamboree both the humbler with ankle cuffs and the steel ball stretcher with similar restraints will definitely allow for pegging to take place, although the humbler can get in the way of certain positions despite being excellent at keeping you in the “presenting” pose! I have seen a few pegging vids using humblers so it’s definitely possible.
For me, it’s always very enjoyable when we use either the humbler or “Mr. Spiky” as we call it. I have to admit that I have a thing for predicament play, and one particular pleasure that plays into the humbler play is to have my balls tied and anchored to something behind me while Sexterminatrix slowly penetrates me; so any attempt to retreat from the pegging earns me a solid yank on my balls, but relieving that pull on my balls will impale me further. It definitely keeps me coming back for more so to speak. 
@Sexterminator - we don’t currently own a humbler - but I have over the years used stockings to tie around the balks - the stocking is pulled back up the crack of the bottom and then the back and tied around the neck (not tight)
This allows stretching and I call it a carry handle - but blocks anal

I’ll admit I’ve never used stockings in that way, it’s only recently I saved a pair of red ones and will wear them on occasion. And most of our CBT activities involves my spiked ball collar (similar to my profile pic) with a leash attached that Sexterminatrix controls, usually from the front as I perform sexually for her visual pleasure. However, she could in theory also pull from the rear whilst pegging if she desired, making sure I couldn’t “escspe” her needs and increasing her sense of control over me. It’s food for thought, and depending on the resources you have available to you, you might come up with something even better (which I hope you will share with us so we can try!)

@batjamboree the spiky cage is a favourite of ours. I know that they are originally designed to be secured around the shaft of the penis (making getting an erection extremely painful!) but for me, I prefer to put it around the top of the scrotum, trapping the balls on the other side which stretches them away from the body enhancing that pleasure. The spikes don’t dig in as much as you’d think, although you can definitely feel them, and when Sexterminatrix yanks on the leash we attach to it, it grabs your 100% attention instantly lol.
Sadly, LH don’t sell them but I’m sure there are places online near you that will stock them (I’d happy to share my links with you, provided it’s allowable under the forum/DM rules of course).
