I was quite attracted by the shape of it. I've got the Doc Johnson classic large plug and I love the full feeling it gives and the way it's so secure when it's in... but the very reason it's so secure when it's in (i.e. that it is quite large and yet has a relatively narrow neck) means that it can hurt when taking it out.
Hopefully with the smoother shape of this plug I can have the fullness but without the pain once the fun's done with!
I'd love to try a slightly larger plug myself, so I can have that 'fuller' experience, but(t) I have a bit of anxiety about just that - extraction! One of my glass dildos is like that; it feels amazing as it goes in and my behind sort of 'swallows' it, as it narrows, although obviously, it's not quite as intimidating as some of the larger plugs, which kinda take it to a completely different level.
Can anyone recommend a plug that you might call a 'level 2' plug?

The pictures don't do it justice, it's huge. But 'cos it starts at "only" 6" girth and slowly gets bigger it's a very good one for stretching to work up to bigger things.
I'm really tempted by one of the hand-shaped dildos, but the thought of having to try to clean out all the nooks and crevices put me off this time...

The Doc Johnson medium plug looks just the thing, for the moment and I think I'll treat myself to it this Xmas! The njoy plug I've looked at before and, being a user of glass dildos, as well as a bit of a magpie, it really appealed to me on two levels of the nice cold steel, as well as the shiny-shinyness. It's price puts it out of my reach, atm, but I'm giving serious thought to it.
The Three Bangs doesn't really float my boat, as with those ridges, I imagine it to be a bit uncomfortable to remove, although feel free to correct me, if I'm wrong. The Intimidator certainly seems to live up to its name and yes, appears to be an advanced plug, although it's more fulness, rather than extreme stretching I'm after.
I've also seen a few of the inflatable plugs on the site and think they might make for a happy medium. Any thoughts/experience of them?

With regards to inflatable plugs, I know some people like them and the full feeling they can give... but personally they don't do anything for me.
As for the large plug, if I were you I really wouldn't try to go from a 4" circumference toy to a 7.5" circumference toy straight away! Get the medium one first (or as well). When I got the large Doc Johson one it took me nearly 6 months of trying to take it successfully, and my final success was helped by getting the three bangs junior.
The ridges on the three bangs junior aren't too bad (personally I don't find them uncomfortable at all). Personally I find them a lot less harsh than taking out the large Doc Johnson plug I've got (this one: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=350). In fact, going up and down over those ridges on the three bangs junior is my favourite past-time on that particular toy  (the ridges on the bigger three bangs toys though do look a little... edgy)
